H&M, London

We're always feel rather dubious when we see these kinds of promotions in fast fashion brands' windows.  We've all heard this stuff before and a lot of Green washing is the usual go-to.  Anyway, great windows with the brand logo in fun fur and the strap line Time to Change!.  Indeed.  In collaboration with PETA, the brand have launched a PETA-approved animal friendly collection (what were they doing before then?) called the Co-exist story for womenswear, menswear and kids wear.  Products retail from £9.99 apparently.  A collaboration with an organisation such as the workers rights consortium in Bangladesh would have got us more interested however.

If you haven't seen H&M then this is a corker of a scheme.  Working in collaboration with Shona Heath these handmade larger-than-life animals are superb.  We've seen these in New York too and they really are quite magical.  Do drop by the brands Oxford Circus store if you can as this scheme is really worth checking out, and, if you are in New York there are even more of these creatures to view. Not a Christmas tree or Silver Birch in sight - refreshing.

H&M, London

This brand fly through schemes so fast that if we don't include them now it will have come and gone already.  What is interesting about this brand - and goodness knows we celebrate this - is that not every store looks identical; Hurrah.  As we've shown you with the example at Bottega Veneta yesterday, we are finding schemes with lots of layers around town which give relatively small spaces a certain amount of depth. We are also finding references to interior spaces, examples of which we will include shortly.

H&M, London

Just in time for London Fashion Week, H&M have launched their AW15 collection and, we have to say it, this is one of their best schemes to date at their Oxford Circus store and what a corker it is.  The products here (as seen at the Paris Fashion Week show) are placed inside a capsule, and therefore we guess a capsule collection (!) glows across Regent street like a beacon.  Just check out our video as this one looks superb. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCyMEs42Zoc

H&M, London

This is an interesting version of the Heart structure, don't you think?  We came across this one at one of the many H&M stores here in central London and although (and we know we keep saying it) Heart motifs are the worst thing ever, this one with its almost sculptural structure in Black which has been highlighted with lighting is actually quite interesting.  There we go.

H&M, London

Rocking the tropical look is H&M right now.  We've been tracking this trend for some months now so we may be seeing the end of it as nearly everyone is in Sale at the moment and this scheme has been around for at least 3 weeks. No doubt it will change soon? So, we thought we would just slip it in at the last moment in case you haven't seen it.

H&M, London

We managed to capture this gorgeous little gem of a scheme from this brand recently before they changed the wigs on the mannequins to more generic Black ones....Grrrrr.  We loved this scheme with these super Red heads (someone at head office probably didn't), so come on guys swop them back?

H&M, London

What fantastic fun is this scheme at H&M?  These guys are thankfully not shy in injecting some fun onto the high street and this little gem is no exception.  Giant knitting needles, a giant tape measure and giant knitting.  We've see a few references to knitting recently, in fact we seem to remember reading (but do correct us otherwise) that John Lewis has had or have a section within their store dedicated to encourage men to get knitting.  It really is a pleasure to see that the 'old' craft skills are being encouraged again and the notion of the handmade and therefore some level of sustainability, whether directly or indirectly is supported by the high street.

H&M, London

Someone at H&M has a fantastic sense of humour, don't you think?  So often missing in 'windows' generally is the sense of fun and amusement.  Pre-corporate life we often saw such skill in use of product and props and this has been lacking for so long apart from a few pockets of creativity and cleverness around town which we always find ourselves making a bee-line for.  These guys are rocking right now with these fantastic props.  We love it.  Oh, and its all about the denim.

H&M, London

Wow, H&M just get better and better, don't they?  We adore this enormous 'wardrobe' (in  vinyl) and the organised chaotic hangers with strategically place merchandise in a gravitational format (an explanation of what that is if you are unsure is included in our book out later this year).  Anyway, if you happen to be in Oxford Circus in the heart of it all then do take a look at this installation; fantastic.

H&M, London

So cool it fricking hurts, doesn't it?  The guys at H&M change their schemes quicker than we can, well, change other stuff and we love it, particularly when they change what they do and do it so bleedin' well. These guys are on fire and we cant help but envy their energy.  Lets not under estimate however how hard these guys have to work to ensure that they bring us the latest and greatest in windows and these window changes are incredibly hard work to do.  Well done guys and thank you for sharing your apparently endless energy and we do hope that your head office guys and in particular the dull old finance department appreciate what you do (they probably don't.....actually we know that finance departments never do but want to be a part of it all anyway because they would like to be cool but never are; but don't say we said so).  Fantastic stuff and kudos to the guys who implemented the latest scheme at Oxford Circus.

H&M, London

We've been walking passed this scheme for a few weeks now and missed our chance to capture the under water scheme prior to this one which was great fun.  But anyway, the guys at H&M have done it again this brand just gets better and better at what they do.  The brand is obviously gearing up for the Festival season and this scheme just says it brilliantly.
