We do love a great Anthro. scheme.  At this time of year, pre-pandemic we would have made the pilgrimage to NYC to record the windows although sadly for yet another year we're unable to get there as we used to love to have a look at this brands' store at the Rockefeller centre in particular.  Anyway in the meantime you can enjoy the London store's offering and as always you can view larger versions of these ones on our Instagram though the link below.

We really do love how visual this brand are and the windows here always look so interesting.  Even though there is probably a huge corporate structure behind the brand, what we love is how different the windows are from store to store.  The handmade and probably sustainable aspect is obviously very important and each scheme feels like it is made with thought and love.

Christmas is not our favourite time of year personally, perhaps working in the industry for so long we're rather over decorations etc. although we do tend to look forward to the schemes at this brand.  Anthropologie always produce wonderful schemes and we really do appreciate the handmade approach which they adopt.  We can only hope that one day more brands will become less corporate and adopt this strategy again too.

With a much needed injection of colour out there on the high street is this brand right now.  As regular readers will know, we do tend to gush at the windows here and with good reason (we think).  Here in London of course we are just in that short period between seasons i.e. its the end of the Summer-ish but not quite Autumn and Christmas schemes are just around the corner.  We guess this scheme reflects that period with its nod to the various flora and fauna included here.

We do love the windows at Anthropologie, always.  And, just look at their latest scheme at their Regent street store here in the centre of it all.  Unfortunately the platform we use to show you the latest schemes does appear to alter our images quite considerably however you can view them also on either our facebook or instagram pages (links below) where they appear bigger and clearer.  Anyway, great to see a wonderful Summer scheme without references to travel which is quite a sore point right now for most of us who are unable to get away from London to somewhere far more exotic.  Well, exotic to us anyway.

We did try and capture this scheme in all its glory a few weeks ago however just as we approached the windows the lights were turned off.  We guess they saw us coming.  Anyway, sadly of course, right now London is filled with dreaded Sale signs so have found ourselves trying to squeeze anything visual out of the high street this week in order to show you some schemes.  Here at this brand (besides the obligatory Sale signage which we are trying to avoid) is this rather beautiful floral scheme.

How beautifully presented it this scheme.  We were glad to find a bit of recycling in this window (well they do anyway but we wanted to point it out) with the use of these structures holding the product.  The product it self has been presented as a historical still-life painting all wonderfully presented as always.  Finishing the scheme is a wonderful radiating form consisting of cut paper Autumnal leaves.

Naturally any visit to the big Apple has to include this brand and while they appear to have closed down some stores here in Manhatten at least this one at the Rockefeller Center is still providing us with the kind of visual spectacle we adore.  Just look at these beauties.

We can never get enough of this brands' schemes and the wonderful handmade products that they produce.  OK, well they may have lost their edge ever so slightly recently as they used to produce such amazing props such as giant Whales and all sorts of wonderful creatures and fantastically detailed installations.  Some of the stores we have visited recently have appeared a little bare however we will drop by their Rockafella center store very shortly as that one is usually a show stopper.

We recently included an Etro scheme here which featured their underwater / sea installation which as we know was predicted through the retail intelligence that we clearly all use.  Of course as we would expect this has begun to trickle down to the rest of the high street and naturally we are beginning to see this emerge across at least some schemes out there.  With their giant sized Octopus and suspended Jelly fish in a repetition and gravitational format, Anthropologie always entertain us.
