We've seen some great schemes from this brand in the past and while this one is very clean and simple we expect when things pick up again we will see some of the great narratives that they usually produce beginning to reappear.  Currently the stark White backdrop of this enclosed window space is punctuated by giant cut letters forming of course the initials of the brand.  The secondary window does seem to appear to be the poor relative however and doesn't quite receive the same amount of love as their main space which is a shame.

References to swimming pools appear to be emerging across a few brands at the moment (Mulberry is an example).  As we approach the holiday season brands such as this one are well ahead of us and naturally these types of installations are expected.  Another great quality installation from Lagerfeld at their store along Regent street here in the centre of it all.

We initially wrote this post before the sad news of the passing of the great man himself and our sincerest thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
There appears to be quite a lot of Graphic-led schemes around town at the moment.  At Lagerfeld, applying a symmetrical dynamic to their scheme with the strap line 'The World According to Karl' is no exception.  We haven't really noticed this see-it, buy-it strategy for a long while where the product is supported by the back ground image although this is a rather slow time of year so no doubt the best option right now.

Celebrating the season, this brand with their neon signage, 'Karl Holidays' and of course a profile of the man himself......just in case you forget what he looks like.... plus an illuminated arrow and naturally great product this scheme shines very brightly across Regent street here in the centre of it all particularly at night-time.  Completing the scheme is a Red glittery backdrop, flooring and plinths.

You have to see this in the 'flesh' to truly appreciate this installation as the moving dot matrix lighting is quite something.  Glowing across Regent street is Lagerfeld right now.....the scheme is otherwise quite as we would expect and the usual product handling dynamics are of course in place.....but, the lighting framing it is quite something.

Amazing flying saucers and a rocket are the key elements to this scheme at Lagerfeld.  You might remember that we included Hogan last week who have adopted a similar theme but we will just have to wait to see if any other brands pick up this strand in their windows.  In the meantime, a great quality scheme which of course also features Bonaveri's gorgeous Aloof mannequin.

As London continues to swelter right now......although we dont like to complain.....however as usual we are just not organised to accomodate anything other than a temperate climate. But, at least Toblerones are reverting back to their original size.  You heard it here first.  In the meantime, large letters in retail store windows seems to be a 'thing' at the moment across at least some brands (ref. yesterdays entry from Hunter) and here at KL, there is at least a nod in this direction, in conjunction of course with a fabulous Red and Black and White stripey backdrop.

With a shimmering background punctuated with these bright Yellow focal points and the strapline Karl Holidays in neon, this brand have continually delivered some great schemes this year.  Oddly we haven yet been inside of this space to have a scout around although we tend to be out and about during the late night hours when all is quiet.  This is another brand on our list to watch for 2018.

We adore these shapely street signs in Paris in their usual Blue colour and great to see them being brought into this scheme, albeit on a much larger scale of course.  The scheme itself in Black and White with highlights of Gold drew us across Regent street the other evening to take a closer look.  All exquisitely produced of course as one would expect from this uber brand.

No one can deny the enormous impact this designer has had on Fashion and he's still making such a massive contribution out there on the high street.  The windows of course are beautifully illuminated, everything is perfectly place and, just in case you forget who is behind all of this there is a cartoon of the man himself complete with signature sunglasses.

The colours used here at Lagerfeld seem to have been implemented across almost all of the significant brands around town right now.  The brand are celebrating a collaboration between themselves and Steven Wilson for this capsule collection, SS17.  An out sized portrait of the main man himself forms the focal point to this installation in what looks like layers of coloured perspex.

Oh we do like a great travel scheme and the latest one at Lagerfeld is no exception.  'Fly with Karl' is the strap line here which clearly links with the latest collection from this phenomenal brand.  What is so interesting about this scheme is what is actually missing rather than what is in place and the clever use of the iconic elements from air travel is communicated beautifully well.

Beautifully produced and exquisitely executed its no wonder that tourists are blocking these windows in order to take 'selfies' and be a part of the spectacle.  An out sized revolving articulated wooden hand is the main focal point here with the addition of smaller versions in a repetition and gravitational format.  This scheme is certainly currently the most exciting along Regent street right now and great to see such investment in exciting and innovative Visual Merchandising.
