Shoes are not the easiest product to show well and having such a large space to work with hasn't really helped this installation.  Images can be a bit deceiving of course and to be honest in reality you can actually see the product in the scheme although they do appear lost in the images.  As we would expect for this time of year, a narrative with a nod to the holiday season.

We're always rather surprised to see the windows at this brand although we shouldn't really be as they always make such an effort (which we really appreciate) therefore in some way its a given that they will produce a quality scheme.  Presenting shoes and bags in an interesting way and the fact that they really don't have the shape of windows to show small products it must be an ongoing challenge for the team here to produce something interesting, but they always do.  Clouds are another nightmare to get right but they've done it all so beautifully.

Well isn't this a vision of Pink flora along Mount street right now.  With such a small product and large window spaces it really is no easy task showing this product well.  However this brand always manages to find some successful way of doing it.  Plinths, onto which the delicate and sparkly products have been placed draws the passerby towards the scheme to take a closer look.  Job well done then.

We do love a bit of Gina and while on our travels along Mount street we came across their latest scheme.  There are some very nice collisions of materials here although their usually super sparkly product appears to be quite lost amongst it all which is a shame.  We're actually very surprised that any brands at all have something new in their windows and while we have no idea if there is any meaning behind this one other than pure abstraction we are grateful for the visual of it all anyway.

We've shown you a version of this scheme previously although on this occasion the brand have opted for the scheme in Black and White (well actually monochrome really).  In the usual repetition format the brand have elevated some of their gorgeous products on these three plinths although other than that there isn't a lot more which we can add.

If you like your shoes luxurious and naturally expensive then this is the brand for you.  This brand tend to only have stores in the most exclusive parts of town as one would expect and currently while this is quite a simple scheme consisting of these round podiums in a repetition format complete with graphic is does look particularly effective.

This brand tend to love these leg forms for their installations although given the product its no surprise.   However their theatrical surround does actually look quite impressive (not very clear in the image below).  Taking centre stage naturally are their very glamorous product and only one pair.  A very confident retailer indeed.

Oh those flipping legs again; someone somewhere is clearly making a lot of money from respraying.  The colours used in this scheme look incredible in 'life' and of course the product is just stunning although we seem to be seeing the same scheme over and over again from this brand with just a few tiny tweaks.  Footwear is probably not the easiest product to think of a narrative around however we do seem to be seeing the same permutations of the same scheme on a regular basis.  We cant image that this brand care that much about sustainability, soooo.....lets move on now?

This is quite a pretty scheme at Gina right now (this is their Mount st store), delicately coloured complete with plinths on which to show their product and of course beautifully sculptured legs in a gorgeous shade of Pink (although this shade probably has a much 'posher' name of course).  Simple, elegant and does what it does.

We did pass by this scheme during the hotter weather here in London although it seemed to have slipped back under our radar until now at least.  Rocking the tropical-look which is slightly odd now that London appears to be entering the Autumnal period (or fall if you are reading this state side).  Large tropical leaves have been used to present the product dontcha know and great to see this brand changing their schemes as often as they seem to be doing (well sort of).  We don't expect them to install a back-to-school scheme any day soon but hopefully a new installation will follow shortly to reflect the seasonal changes.

We've steered ourselves towards Mount street this week in the hope of finding some more gems in this otherwise rarely trodden (by us at least) part of London's West End.  There are some amazingly luxurious brands on this street if you aren't familiar with it and thankfully we came across Gina who nearly always make such an effort in their relatively small window spaces.  With a kind of artists studio-style installation complete with picture frames, canvases, palette and paint covered mannequin legs this scheme is very interesting.

We've spotted a few references to Punk around town recently (you may remember the amazing scheme at Liberty we showed recently).  We guess that these brands are tapping into the 40th anniversary vibe of the period as there are also a few exhibitions happening around town (namely the British Library).  With references to the Sex Pistols album (Never Mind The B*****ks Here's the Sex Pistols) it is an interesting combination having high fashion in conjunction with an anti-establishment movement but then thats London for you.

A collage-style scheme with a mixture of product handling in a gravitational format and triangular and rectangular printed background punctuated with mannequin legs is the scheme at Gina right now.  We often pass this store but rarely capture it as they dont tend to change this windows very often, so this is a welcomed relief from what we normally see.
