We love Seana Gavin's installation here at B Store right now. The installation for Frieze is in place until 5th November. If you happen to be along Saville Row soon, do go and check it out. If you cant get there just Google Seana Gavin (the hand cut collage Artist) and a whole load of wonderful things pop up.

B Store, London
The guys are B store (at the Miyake end of Saville Row) are clearly way ahead of the forthcoming trends for 2012. With their use of 'old' Liberty fabrics to create these giant Teddy bears we can see the trend towards Nostalgia and Comfort beginning to creep in. We may just see some of the multiples on the high street pick up on these trends but possibly not until well into next year.

B Store, London
Tucked in right at the end of Saville Row (near Issey Miyake) B store is a rather an elusive store. Its odd shaped space shoe horned underneath a much larger building, this brand seems to completely work away quietly just doing what its doing - selling product. There is something quite unusual about this brand although beyond the window scheme we are not sure what it is. The presentation is always so beautifully produced and cleverly thought through. Here, we have a vintage piece of furniture filled with what looks like plaster and cut horizontally into three pieces. Ties have been draped across the top. There is an almost 'fine art' approach to what these guys do and we are very intrigued. If you happen to be this end of Saville row or half way down Conduit street maybe take a look and let us know what this brand is all about?

B Store, London
Do you ever wander along Saville Row? I must admit that its not the kind of place that's on my mind as a destination for shopping. Well known of course for its tailored suits of exceptional quality to the Kings, Princes, Dukes of the world and I guess more recently city slickers and those with enough money to buy into the history of this street. However, while Aberzombie (my mis-spelling) has moved into the old Jil Sander store which if I remember correctly was originally an old bank at one end of the street, there still is a beacon of hope at the other in the form of B Store. OK, well, I must confess I know nothing about this brand / store to share with you, however the presentation is so interesting. With their museum-like artefact's lined up in their window space and their abstract figure as their focal point announcing the bleeding thumb whittling club cut in vinyl and placed on the glass I was drawn in to take a closer look. Unfortunately I was in a rush (as is London life) and on my way to see one of my clients so I didn't have time to take a closer look. Next time I'm in the area , I will certainly make the time to go in and have a closer inspection, but in the meantime, just enjoy this interesting installation.
