This is quite an interesting solution for this time of year.  We do love the references to a more traditional Christmas with the exterior of the window and the use of branches to highlight the space.  However, just look at these incredible stone-like structures too.  We haven't quite decided whether we love them of hate them although it is refreshing not to see trees at least.

There's possibly a glut of cane rattan webbing available as this brand appear to be using quite a lot of it recently in their schemes.  We're also not huge fans of motifs in windows and this Apple one is not really doing the installation any favours.  Lovely product as always but the scheme for us lacks anything of any interesting.  It is just our thoughts of course although you may think it's wonderful.

We havent quite made up our minds about this woven cane window.  We do love the reference to Craft and it is great to see that no technology has been used as a short cut to an installation although we are not entirely sure about the structures here.  Perhaps if the 'flowers' (we're guessing thats what they are) actually filled the whole space then we would be looking at it from an interesting texture / structure perspective although placed like this doesn't quite do it for us right now.

As with so many brands out there at the moment, the focus on the visual aspects  of retail store windows is quite minimal right now.   Here at this brand who we normally see produce some superb visual schemes and certainly earlier this year there were some real show stoppers.  Sadly at the moment we just have a plant and a few plinths however we are very confident that the amazing installations we normally see here will be back with avengence very soon.

We've begun to see a lot of this crewel work around town, particularly at McQueen and social media sites and this kind of nod to craft work.  Here at this Tory Burch we have some out sized examples on what appear to be embroidery frames, or repetition of radiating forms which have been applied to the back drop of the window space.

We loved the colours used in the windows at this brand and what we have included here is actually a mixture of two of their stores, Bond street and Regent street as both look so vibrant right now.  While most other brands have opted for the traditional seasonal schemes this brand have gone their own direction (we are assuming of course that this is actually their Christmas scheme).

We recently included a scheme at the brand Guess which also had references to Cacti in their windows.  Clearly everyone got the same memo then.  Naturally of course this scheme is rather more superior as one would expect from a premium brand although it does demonstrate that even mid range brands are purchasing the same trend information (well probably).

Carnations are not our favourite flower we have to confess; a little bit cheap funeral wreath or greasy Caf'-trying-to-be-up-market for our liking although what is quite interesting is that this brand have moved away from their closed back window into a much more open space.  This does make things a little more challenging when producing the visual merchandising of course although great to finally see through to the inside of a store we we never seem to actually enter ourselves.

Mannequins and product swinging above the long grass is the scheme at Tory Burch right now.  We havent seen the use of swings in windows for quite some time (its not a particular favourite thing of ours) however as always a quality installation nonetheless.  Other than that there isn't much else we can comment on.

This is one of the best schemes we've seen from this brand and quite different from their store along Bond street.  These studio-style installation always look so interesting as they communicate the process behind the product production which we find fascinating.  The "Hicks Remix: Spring 2018" which is "an explosion of colour and print inspired by David Hicks" is so much more engaging than the usual abstract installations which we see so often at this brand stores.

This is a relatively simple scheme from this brand and not quite enough to talk about other than it has a concertinaed Black and White patterned  backdrop and textured product.  This is not a particularly seasonal-looking scheme although to be honest thats absolutely fine and a welcomed relief from all of the bling around town right now.

Check out this stunning backdrop at Tory Burch right now.  We've seen a big trend with Plywood recently applied in all sorts of ways but this one is quite exquisite.  Beautifully lit and we image laser cut given that the scheme has probably gone global and who has the time to do this by hand, right?  The various layers here have been applied to create a sense of depth in the landscape which has been punctuated centrally with what appears to be a colonial-style house.  Go and view this one.
