Wow, just look at this installation at Gant along Regent street right now.  We've seen some wonderful collaborations with this brand for a while now which really does help to invigorate the high street.  The latest installation is in collaboration with the Artist Amma Lomax (do check out her website as she has a whole range of interesting pieces to view).  The other thing to note...no product.  Thats a confident retailer right there.

We've seen a few collaborations around town recently, particularly with Artists, at brands such as Roksanda and Pringle.  Working across a range of disciplines really helps to invigorate a brands offer as well as of course provide a usually much needed showcase for the work of the Artist (although this Artists has an incredibly successful portfolio already).  Here at Gant, the team have just installed their latest scheme in conjunction with the very talented Kelly Anna.  We were fortunate to attend the presentation talk in conversation with the Artists last week and what a great person she is too.

Still celebrating seven decades with seven icons from their collections this brand are probably right at the end of this run on this theme with the launch of their Cable Knit sweater from 2010.  For some reason 2010 doesn't actually seem that long ago although we guess it is on someones lifetime.  Anyway, let's see what the brand do next.

Old school-style arcade games currently fill the windows at this brands windows along Regent street right now.  Its been quite some time since we saw these kinds of amusements out there however a great fun reference nonetheless and one we havent seen previously within retail store windows.

Celebrating an incredible seven decades with seven icons from their collection is Gant right now (in this instance the 1960's club blazer).  It's actually really worth checking out their website as they have done a remarkable job in linking this up with the scheme here (or vice versa we image).  It has been a while since we included this brand, although with a slight whiff of the nautical going on in their store along Regent street here in the centre of it all, they are actually looking rather good again.

We seem to have viewed this scheme in Copenhagen earlier in the year although of course you can never have enough White shirts we suppose?  Still, a slightly odd choice of product for this time of year given that we are already in the Autumn / Winter season here in London although used in this repetition format it does of course make quite a statement.

Gant schemes appear to becoming more and more simplified since their move across Regent street a short while ago, although new teams and new visions are fine of course and fresh approaches are always welcomed.  With just a few simple bust forms in dynamic positions behind which are placed 'cut out' backdrops the scheme highlights some of their shirt products.  A bit of theatre is always appreciated though...;o)

This brand in London (and NYC) produce some amazing schemes at their flagship stores so we are guessing that this store is a little further down the pecking order to receive the same love and attention?  That said, this is of course a great way to show what is quite a dull product (i.e. men's shirts not the brands collections).  A panel of White shorts has been punctuated with illuminated ones to highlight the brands different ranges.  This is a great statement at this store which in context is surrounded by brands we dont know with little or no window schemes to show you.

Gant have moved across the road along Regent street to their new store and naturally launched their seasonal scheme.  The team here are so nice and great to see this brand looking quite abstract for this time of year, but then the guys here are very clever with their schemes and always produce work which is rather unexpected and unpredictable and we love them for that.

You probably haven't seen this scheme yet as it has literally just been completed.  If you wanted to know what 10.000 individual threads looks like in a retail store window then here it is.  Working through the night, the team at www.harlequin-design.com have installed this fantastic new scheme at Gant along Regent street.  Thankfully the Visual team at Gant are not afraid of putting the creativity back into window schemes and this bold statement demonstrates the confidence this brand have in their product.  This was no doubt phenomenally time consuming to install however the visual impact of this is very much appreciated.

Looking very crisp and clean, Gant (at least here in the UK) appear to swear no allegiance to any particular type or style of presentation which is so refreshing to see.  Remember the last one with its luggage carousel?   Suspended and neon illuminated rectangles hang in a gravitational and repetition format punctuated by references to their products.  Clearly this season the focus is on their shirts.

Whats not to love about this scheme?  Large format graphic of an airport from halcyon days forms the back drop to the product here with airline seating and of course the obligatory carousel to showcase their luggage.  A great way to show their delicious product at this brand along Regent street with a great dose of humour too.

Gant is oozing Destination California Coast right now at their store along Regent street.  These guys really do manage to present such amazing props in this store which absolutely capture the emotion of their collections so well.  Here we have a fantastic Yacht prop, decking and an amzing beach hut-like structure within large windows which have relatively small access.  It really is remarkable what these guys achieve in their windows and leads us very nicely into SS15.

A vision of Greenery at Gant right now.  With the launch of their La Prep collection the brand here have leaped into Spring and what a welcomed relief.  Fauna everywhere and the only Blue and White that we have seen everywhere else recently is only in the product.  Beautifully produced of course as always.

We absolutely fell in love with the use of plaster in this scheme when we first saw it as it immediately reminded us of the work of the Artist Rachel Whiteread.  Gant's collegiate Winter season collection in Cream, Navy, Grey and Camel looks stunning in this scenario.  The inspiration behind the scheme is based on the library at Yale University where the mannequins become the characters in the narrative of two young people who studied together and meet once again at the Christmas party.  The books themselves form the backdrop in a repetition format with the use of mirrors to increase the depth of the space.  Each day we say that the scheme we include is our favourite and we find ourselves catching our breath at every turn here in London as it is looking so good right now.  So, today this is definitely our favourite to date.   Just check our video too....
