Fenwick along Bond street here in the the centre of London just keeps on giving with yet another great scheme from this brand.  Launching their Globetrotter installation for LFW this store keeps us coming back time and time again.  Giant maps of the fashion capitals around the world fill the background to their amazing products, all of which are perfectly presented in their huge window spaces.  Do go an visit this store if you can as they've really turned into an amazing destination.

Selfridges, London

We've been itching to go and have a look at this scheme at Selfridges for a while and of course, as always this fantastic brand with a huge personality never disappoints. Ahlens, Stockholm

We are currently looking at the delights of Stockholm for inspiration from a city which seems to be continually being mentioned as the place for some great design.  Here at the fantastic department store Ahlens we came across this installation named 'Clouds' which essentially is a rug made from the remnants from Muji's production line and designed by Studio Brieditis and Evans.  The rug was created on location at the Atelier Gallery Muji in Tokyo in the Autumn of 2017 and is a design project which is ecological, socially focused and actually for sale too.  We have a few more entries from this part of Europe which we will share over the next few days.

Missoni, London

We've begun to spot the use of fringing in various formats around town at the moment and while Missoni dont tend to do very much in the form of Visual Merchandising this glittery backdrop is quite uplifting during the cold weather we are experiencing here in the centre of it all.

Lanvin, London

This isn't the most exciting scheme we've seen from Lanvin although it is indicative of this time of year when all of the more 'abstract' schemes are wheeled out and installed into windows around town (well some places at least).  If you have the opportunity do visit their store in Paris along the Rue St. Honore which is much larger and more creative energy appears to be injected into their schemes.

Chopard, London

Through pure serendipity we came across this scheme at Chopard on our way from LV to Lanvin (we didnt actually know that this store existed here).  We know of the brand of course, although what we weren't aware of is that it is a Swiss watchmakers and jewellery brand dating back to 1860.  With their nod to the seasonal event a small biplane and obligatory artificial clouds form a heart shape in this otherwise quite austere window installation.

Dior, London

Its not clear whether this scheme is referencing the new film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, although great if it does.  With their latest delicious collections this brand is looking so cool again, and really interesting windows after a long slump in energy coming from their stores.  Do check this one out along Bond street right now if you can.

Sonia Rykiel, London

If you pop by Sonia Rykiel right now you can add your own personal 'mark' to this brilliant installation.  Situated at 29, Brook Street, here in the centre of it all, the brand have just launched its "Manifesto" on its incredible 50th anniversary and "invites you to invent and inscribe in your own words and titles" a "literary or poetic proclamation".  The installation in collaboration with the Slovak visual artist, Jaro Varga, "questions the relevance of physical books and their eventual obsolescence", while offering you the opportunity "to define the books entered into this conceptual library".  If you happen to be in this part of down, dont be shy and have a go, the guys here are incredibly friendly, they all look stunning and more than happy to offer you a marker courtesy of http://www.winsornewton.com/uk/  Incidentally, the new collections in store are delicious too.

Chanel, London

With the freezing weather here in London this is a warming sight.  The floor has been covered with Sand, punctuated with these wire framed pillars (we're guessing Roman) and tiny Blue twinkling lights.  The scheme is slightly biblical looking although it is a welcomed relief in an otherwise cold climate.

Mansur Gavriel, New York

This is a new and welcomed discovery for us; Mansur Gavriel.  There are only two stores in New York and this one along Madison Avenue is, well, extremely Pink.  Selling small leather goods and ready-to-wear, all beautifully and luxuriously produced of course this is one to drop by to visit and experience.  We're heading back to London now for the dreaded Sale window schemes so we will catch up with you on the flip side.  Its been fun New York...!

Bloomingdales, Dubai

In our final entry of 2017 we just wanted to slip in this scheme from Bloomingdales before we move on from this incredible country.  We sadly missed the New York installation as we were in town a little too early to see their scheme but as always, the magic and glamour of this time of year is oozing from their windows.  'Glow What Fun' is the strap line here and what we have forgotten to mention is that we have spotted an awful lot of Ferris Wheels this season here in Dubai being used in schemes across the malls.
