We always find that this brand has such a wonderful sense of masculinity about it.  Its not horribly cocky like some brands (which can also be interpreted as arrogance which really does turn us off), it simply comes across as a brand for really good guys who like to dress well and do care about what they wear.  The current campaign features an ex-forces guy before he retired although  his forces training has become a part of his everyday like.  Just check out the video here.  Beautifully shot and incredibly sexy.  The brand have such an interesting approach to their work that we simply had to include this to show you.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1dSolyuUaI&feature=youtu.be

We haven't looked at this brand for a while although we have remained loyal fans (honest guys) but not had much to write about them for a while.  This is a superb store along Carnaby street which has been so meticulously thought through that it really is worth a visit.  The brand have celebrated a whopping 50 years on the high street and this campaign highlights buttoning the top button which has been synonymous with the brand since 1963 and a 'deliberate style choice which exudes Britishness'.  The brand celebrate this style decision using the model Luis Simonon in their campaign (those of you of a certain age will remember the iconic band The Clash; Louis is the son of Paul Simonon).  Just watch the video below.....super cool stuff.

If you happen to be along Carnaby street soon, then do go and check out the newly and recently launched Ben Sherman store based here.  We absolutely love their new concept.  With their 'Back to Old School' or perhaps nostalgic concept with a very sophisticated contemporary twist, this store looks absolutely superb.  This brand also have a fabulous sister store based at 115, Portobello Road.  We are planning a visit to this site shortly for their special launch, however in the meantime, do go and check out the store along Carnaby st. first.  This store is a breath of fresh air, the staff are so wonderfully friendly and the merchandise is an absolute must.  You guys at Ben Sherman are rocking.

We were really excited to see this brand doing something new, and for such a worthy cause too.  As their site says, "As a brand fortunate enough to consider many of the world's finest musicians as both fans and friends, in VIP [they] have asked each of them to donate one plectrum to be auctioned for charity.  Each of these magic pieces of plastic has been signed by the artist and presented alongside its own unique story in a custom-made collector's frame."  The list of contributors reads like a who's who in the music world and all for such a very worthy cause too.  So get bidding for your own celebrity plectrum (if you are not sure what one is,  its that triangular-ish shaped thing for strumming on a guitar) by checking out the Ben Sherman VIP site.  This makes for great windows too of course.
