Godiva, London

We don't often include food in windows although we do pass this store along Regent street and for a mid-range brand this one really is looking very interesting.  Below is an example of very exquisite packaging given that their target audience is probably, well just about anyone we would imagine, however these guys are clearly upping the ante in Chocolate presentation.

Godiva, London

Oh beejeezus, its the swinging bird cages rearing their heads again this time of year.  Those are chocolates at the bottom of the bird cage, aren't they?  Well, their saving grace is at least they are sprayed a colour, but come on guys, lets get something a bit more original going on?  The best scheme we saw here was during the jubilee and what a corker it was too.  It all just went down hill from there we guess.

Godiva, London

Here we go go again, strap yourselves in and baton down the hatches, Easter is nearly here.  Just like Christmas schemes Easter installations are in place well in advance of the event itself.  We're not particularly keen on this brand, but we do love the giant suspended Chocolate egg.  That's all there is to say about what these guys are doing.  Sigh.

Godiva, London

Gawd, is it nearly that time of year yet again.  Just as we get over that Christmas malaise and the bonkers clearance period, off we go heading full speed to the next major retail event.  The evil that is Valentines Day. Its not that we are against love between people, its just this bloody awful heart motif makes our skin crawl.  Why oh why cant the retail industry think of something a little more interesting and something less ordinary?  We are scouting around trying to find something a little more innovative but there really is no hope, is there?

Godiva, London

We saw the guys installing this scheme recently at Godiva.  It was however,  strangely after the Jubilee for some reason although the references are more 'London' anyway so we guess it still works OK?  If you look closely the 'grassy' crowns are actually on the outside and inside of the fenestration which is always great to view.  We're beginning to see more an more Olympic based schemes now so we will be  showing these very soon.
