Cos, London

You probably cant read the text at the bottom of the top image, however the main strap line is Love for All (ya know, being Pride month and all that) followed by A celebration of love without boundaries and 100% of Sales of their limited edition T-shirt will be donated to Kaleidoscope Trust and Choose Love.  Both very worthy charities indeed.

Cos, London

We really do love the simplicity and cleanliness of this brands' windows.  There's a slight Scandi vibe here we feel.  With a bit of a nod to interiors with the use of the furniture, flora and of course the product presenter which is like a giant version of something which jewellery brands would normally use, this is the latest offer at their store along Regent street right now.

Cos, London

This is such a moving window to view and if you have the opportunity you should go and see it, even just have a glance.  In collaboration with the brand, the Artist Coco Capitan has created these limited edition T-shirts with 100% of the proceeds going to Kaleidoscope, the LGBT+ trust based here in London.  Do have a look at the Kaleidoscope webpage as this really is a worthy cause which you can find here: https://www.kaleidoscopetrust.com/index.php .

It is really interesting to see that so many brands are coming out (well not literally obviously - now that would be an unexpected turn of events) and celebrating this remarkable time of year in support of the LGBT+ community.  We don't want to kill this long awaited (torturously long to be honest) development of course, however having lived through the 70's, 80's, 90's etc. ourselves we cant help thinking, Where we you then? Well, we know where you were.  You were here but said nothing and did nothing  (and yet so many of the LGBT+ community have worked for you).  This brand didn't exist until 2007 so we can forgive them to a point, however now that it is slightly more cool to support groups who have been and still are on the fringes of society every brand appears to be jumping on Pride as a commercial opportunity (not all of course and this scheme really is for a worthy cause).   We cant help but wonder if the same highlighting of LGBT+ support went into all stores across the country, ya' know in the rougher bits where support is probably needed more rather than in the safe spaces of the big city?  We're doubtful unless you tell us otherwise.  In the meantime, we will welcome you even if you weren't there when we actually needed you to raise awareness and support us but we won't forget either.

Cos, London

We cant quite remember what this scheme reminds us of.  Possibly some of the trend information from places such as W.G.S.N. potentially.  Anyway, another very interesting selection of materials, colours, shapes and forms from this brand and very much a Fine Art approach to their installations without a large format graphic in sight. Phew.

Cos, London

We captured this scheme recently however when we came to process and upload our images we have completely forgotten who the brand are.  In fact, we were wondering which luxury brand they were as there are hints of Isabel Marant or any of the numerous luxury schemes along Mount street.  It only dawned on us that in fact this is Cos.  Wow.  We cant believe how good this brand is looking right now and certainly closing that gap between affordable luxury and the super luxury brands.  Well done you guys.

Cos, London

We included Gina earlier this week with they wonderful mix of materials incorporated into their windows along Mount street.  Here at Cos, on Regent st. there is a similar kind of vibe with possible Architectural references and maybe a part of the reconstructed legacy trend for 20/21 with influences which celebrate the future although with a nod to the past.  We can only guess however.

As always this brand produce very simple but equally very considered installations such as this one at their store along Regent street here in the centre of everything fashion retail.  This is probably not the kind of scheme you would normally associate with this time of year although actually it is also quite refreshing to view.

There are some very strange looking forms in the windows at Cos right now.  We're not sure where they are going with this scheme and it is possibly one of those intermittent installations pre-Christmas season.  Who knows?  The shapes are of course interesting although we're not  sure the product is quite right for this installation?

As we have shown you in all of our recent posts for this brand, they appear to have developed this wonderful fine Art-style approach with their Visual Merchandising.  We don't know what the inspiration was for this scheme however we can imagine seeing something similar to it in some incredible gallery out there in the world.

Cos, Milan

This is such an interesting direction for this brand and quite a killer installation here in Milan.  Working in conjunction with the super talented Arthur Manou-Mani, the brand have produced this amazing piece, all 3D printed and placed within this fabulous space here in Milan.  It took us a few goes to get here but so worthwhile just for the experience of it all.

Cos, London

Carrying on with their rather minimal schemes, Cos is still looking interesting.  We are not quite sure what this structure is however (sort of a giant piece of Black perspex with a piece of neon running through it) although without meaning to be unkind is it us or does it look like a giant piece of liquorice?

With references to quite austere....brutalist Architecture the latest monochromatic scheme at Cos is right up our street.  Shades of one tone have such a great impact and an interesting new direction from this brand right now.

We always find ourselves quite in awe of this brands' schemes as they are often so simple and yet make such a great impact.  With their current promotion - juxtapositions - the brand have included these rather interesting forms with which to show the product.  We aren't quite sure how they have developed it to this point but a great scheme nonetheless.

Well finally the World Cup has been notched off and someone is apparently 'Putin America First' but at least the tennis is all done and dusted too and we can carry on as normal while someone finds a tudor shipwreck and Southgate tube station is temporarily renamed, well, you can guess.  Here at Cos meanwhile, we're encouraged to watch this space (according to the vinyl on the fenestration) as the brand explores the process of their latest print.  So, if you like to watch paint dry (quite literally, we're guessing) then pop along to Regent st to have a look.

There's a wonderful purity about the schemes at Cos (Collection of Style) and its great to see this arm of the H&M group stamp its personality on the high street. With its natural materials and their collection which, according to their strap-line, is "inspired by the tactile qualities of paper" you really cant go far wrong.  We do prefer products with a little more interest ourselves although not quite as dull as Acne studios and certainly not as 'blingy' as D&G or Versace, but there clearly is a market for this kind of speciality-wear.

There's something quite interesting in the sculptural element of this scheme even in its simplicity.  We visited the Plywood exhibition last week at the fantastic Victoria and Albert Museum and therefore this captures the vibe so perfectly with everything else happening 'out there'.  Interestingly Joseph along the Brompton road have also implemented a plywood inspired scheme which we will try to share with you shortly.
