We often include this brand here as they usually produce some very interesting schemes.  We're not so sure about this one and couldn't think why.  We look at window schemes on a daily basis and there is a certain something which either makes a scheme come alive or look dead.  For us at least, schemes which look like they have been produced using photoshop or arrived on the back of lorry and lifted into the window overnight just don't work for us.  Great shade of Green though.

Although this is quite a simple scheme it did take some time to work out this hashtag 'GENH'.  Just to clarify,  this is something completely separate from the ordinary generational categories such as Gen X, Gen Z, Baby Boomers, Millennial's and so on and this appears to refer to the generation who have been around since Hogan's launch in the 1980's.  Very clever concept we thought although it would just make them a mixture of Gen Z and Millennials anyway.

What a great scheme at this brand right now.  We've spotted some real gems at the store in Knightsbridge and we are constantly amazed, not just at the quality of the installations but the ideas behind them too.  This one is no exception.  What you can never see in a still image is how this glows out of the window space and also the illusion that the 'sand' in the timers is actually moving.  Another winning scheme from Hogan.

When we captured the windows here there was unfortunately a van parked very close to the second window which meant it wasn't possible to capture it in the time we had along this narrow street in Montenepoleon.  Anyway, gorgeous flora with these palm leaves in a repetition format fill the background here and of course as standard, the design carries through inside of the store.

We really do like this brand and their schemes.  Even though the windows at this store in the Knightsbridge area of town are relatively small they always produce very high quality installations.  Ok, well there is no narrative which we are aware of around the product here and it would be great to see the kind of approach which Tods do with their schemes however it is great to see that they actually care about their windows nonetheless.

This is a very seasonal scheme from Hogan along Sloane street right now complete with faux fur and faux ice blocks.  We normally only see their magnificent trainers in these windows so it is great to see that they have decided to show the breadth of their products in this scheme.

To be honest with you we only managed to whizz passed here on our way back from the Hu Sheguang show at the Natural History museum and didn't really give it the attention that it deserves.  Slightly reminiscent of the Roger Hiorns amazing installation, Seizure (at least in colour) we did detect however at least a little bit of digital technology on the back screens.  Ultimately another great installation from this amazing brand.

We've spotted some very 'spacey' themes in windows around town recently and just look at this little corker from Hogan (we will include Karl Lagerfeld shortly too).  Product has been placed on planet shaped plinths against and intergalactic background.  What a great looking scheme.

The latest installation at Hogan appears to be quite a mixture of styles right now.  We cant work out whether there are references to Memphis or the ascension trend that we've been seeing for a while,  Alternatively of course it could just be a colourful ladder with product on it against a colourful backdrop although we're hoping there's something more meaningful here anyway.

Its so refreshing to find brands which although they have relatively small window spaces they make such a huge effort to create a big statement.  At Hogan right now their latest scheme includes a mirror and stool as focal points to what appears to be a kind of contemporary dressing table. While the mirrors are slightly obscured you can, if you are tall enough just about catch a glimpse of yourself in the reflection and by default therefore become part of the installation - clever stuff this.  Naturally, this is beautifully executed (our photos dont do this scheme justice) and great use of colour too.

Further along the Rue St. Honore we have the Hogan store.  We've really come to like this brand since we spotted it along Sloane street back in London although we after scouring their website we cant decipher what this scheme is actually about.  We love the Urban Landscapes interactive digital media and the use of the prisms in their 'Light Match' campaign but the cacti-shaped structures and Lemons on the floor of the window has escaped us.

We adore the latest scheme at Hogan although we cant actually find out much information about this or even the product.  Not really very good from a communication point of view.  If you like very expensive trainers (or sneakers if you are reading this stateside) then this is the brand for you.  At their Sloane street store the presentation consists of this fantastic faux perspective with an out sized number 86 although a cursory glance on their website and there is little to tell us about this promotion.  Cu'mon guys communicate to your audience?

Hogan is looking more and more like a brand to watch as their Visual Merchandising is ever more exciting and they are clearly investing in interesting schemes.  Their latest installation here in Milan looks like its been inspired by molecular structures (perhaps references to the Sensitive Science trend we've seen around for a while?) onto which their products are placed.  Looking great.

If you havent seen the latest scheme at Hogan, flashing away as we write, then here's a snapshot for you.  There is an ever so slightly epileptic seizure inducing feel about this scheme, although thats not meant in a derogatory way, just be careful if you see it.  Large lighting flashes focus the eye onto the product which is elevated on mirrored plinths and surrounded by these 'trees' of pricey trainers and suspended jewels.  References to our recent London weather no doubt.  To obtain a better view of this scheme in all its glory just check out of video either below or through this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tRRVKBoRzg
