This brand have just got it, haven't they.  Got.  It.  As always, even during these difficult times this brand are a gift that just keeps on giving when it comes to their windows.  We have no idea what the narrative is here but it doesn't matter, we can just stand back and enjoy the spectacle.  When so much of London looks so shabby right now, thank goodness these guys came to work.  Enjoy.

Celebrating a whopping 50 years is this brand right now.  They appear to have adopted a more abstract approach to their schemes for a while now and gone are the narratives which we used to love.  Still, things change and move on.  The text on the window (we we appreciate you wont be able to see it) reads "In 2021 we celebrate 50 years of Mulberry: contemporary British design, traditional craftsmanship and the Made to Last ethos at the heart of our brand".  Indeed.  Here's to another 50 years and beyond we say.

We captured this scheme recently however when we came to process and upload our images we have completely forgotten who the brand are.  In fact, we were wondering which luxury brand they were as there are hints of Isabel Marant or any of the numerous luxury schemes along Mount street.  It only dawned on us that in fact this is Cos.  Wow.  We cant believe how good this brand is looking right now and certainly closing that gap between affordable luxury and the super luxury brands.  Well done you guys.

Whenever we feel the need for a big dose of creativity we know that we can always rely on this brand.  We adore the Fine Art approach they take with their work and we are rather amazed that, given the amount of windows the teams here have to work with that they have anything in their windows at all.  The current scheme is their Good Nature windows all made with the Earth in mind.  Do have a look at their website as they have included the initial visuals next to the completed windows which are really interesting.

Coach, London

It's been so long since we have been able to visit this brand.  Thankfully they always produce some great schemes in their enormous windows in the former Jaegar store along Regent street.  Unfortunately we have to stand in the middle of the traffic to get a full view of their schemes which as you can appreciate takes quick timing and a lot of waiting to just capture it before the constant passing crowds block the view.  This week, there's a kind of nod to architecture with what appears to be the Empire state building referenced here complete with a bit of playfulness with the inclusion of a slide onto which the product has been placed.

Whoever is producing schemes for this brand, we take our hats off to you.  Changes here are galloping along and given the circumstances we are all facing we are rather amazed.  Ok, well they aren't as lavish as some of the other brands along the luxury mile but they are clearly created with love, care and a quick turnaround keeping us interested and coming back for more.  We just wish that their little front window would get some love though?

It will probably be quite strange to future generations to see signs like this on retail store windows.  What we are talking about of course is the decal highlighting social distancing.  In the meantime, since this brand moved to Regent street site and its huge windows we have seen some great schemes here.  The current one couldn't have been timed better as London experiences what we probably consider holiday weather given what its like most of the year with its tropical feel complete with Palm tree graphics.

This is probably not the most exciting scheme out there at the moment although it is out there and we only tend to show what is current.  There have been some interesting schemes over the years here which cant be easy given the product is essentially a metal box on wheels with a handle however there is some interesting use of colour in this installation nonetheless.

We don't often see much in the way of Visual Merchandising from this brand.  Ok, well they did have some large prop handbags in their windows recently although they weren't very exciting.  However, we did come across this installation and to be honest WTF went through our minds initially.  This is rather a slightly unhinged installation although we have to say that we absolutely love it.  This is so far removed from the usual things luxury brands do and actually completely unexpected of this brand.  We can imagine trying to sell this concept to the CEO and the usual dull-as-dishwater's from finance however, well done to whoever  was brave enough to do something so simple and yet so refreshing and interesting.  We salute you.

New Mannequin Collection

If like most retailers at the moment, you are probably dusting off your old mannequins and more than likely your collections are under going renovations.  If you happen to be looking for something just a little more fresh, and well, actually hot off the press, then look no further than the gorgeous new collection from Association mannequins.  Presenting Grey, based on a suave and, of course, quite honestly the type of male all of us would like to look like right now post-lockdown, in 10, yes 10, calm and gentle poses then look no further. The collection has been designed and styled by the ever wonderful and talented Creative Director Danny Letton with wigs produced by the super lovely Sam Beadle and his team at Peluca Studio.  Get them on speed dial.

We weren't quite sure what message or indeed the promotion was here at this brand initially and thought perhaps given that they have included a riding hat that perhaps it was something rather horsey.  Fortunately this was correct as we cross checked with their website and it appears to relate to their Le Foulonne collection of handbags.   The photography with bits of a horse and bits of a saddle were the clues.  So there you have it.

We had a strange feeling that this was an old scheme from this brand although its actually a current one.  We suspect that the use of the logo which looks quite old now might have given us that impression.  Anyway, there's clearly a nod to the holiday period which actually is slightly rubbing salt in our wounds at the moment as we really cant go anywhere anyway without the risk of facing all of the shenanigans of getting back.   So, here's the latest scheme from this brand with a taste of what you are probably going to miss this year.  You're welcome.

Hackett, London

There's a wonderfully fresh feel to this scheme.  This brand always produce such great quality schemes which we have commented on on many occasions previously.  The strap line for their latest installation is Beyond the Blues complete with mannequins on rocks.  We had to have scan around however as we initially thought that the brand had released a sustainable collection (great if they have) although it's actually referencing some product which of course is Blue.  We love Blue.  Check out the video promotions which go with this scheme which are very beautifully shot.
