The 'Theater of Dreams' is the theme at Saks 5th Avenue this Christmas and a great narrative scheme wrapped around the whole run of their enormous windows from behind the scenes of a theatre to these incredibly delicious windows in Red complete with Theatre seats and chandeliers.  We particularly love the Red Christmas trees they've used here.

We're not familiar with this brand although the window scheme did draw us in.  OK, well, we have seen the NYC skyline in multiple schemes over the years so this wasn't quite that special although it is a delicious new find nonetheless.

Looking vaguely like the kind of scheme Tiffany would implement, Cartier complete with these tiny figures applied to create a miniature narrative does look great.  Obviously better with the product in place.  These images are from across a few of their stores however here in the Big Apple.

This is out favourite Chocolatier, ever.  We've purchased products from here in the past and wow, they get everything absolutely right.  Stunning chocolate products and a great window scheme which screams Christmas, whats not to like?

Barneys, New York

This is a bold statement from this brand and great to see that some retailers are giving something back to society this time of year; although a risky strategy.  'Make Change' and 'Change Counts' in large lettering fill the windows at Barneys this season with a backdrop of (probably) 1000's of pennies in a repetition format.  It takes a confident retailer to do something like this and great to see this brand leading the way.

Bergdorf Goodman, New York

We're in a freezing cold New York although what better way of starting our journey than a pit stop at Bergdorf Goodman for a truly invigorating experience of retail store windows.  As usual, the store have provided us with a massive installation in their windows with the attention to detail as always absolutely staggering.   It really is no wonder that this store is way up there at the top with their visual merchandising.  Just check out our snapshots of their Christmas scheme here.

Ralph Lauren, London

We seem to be having a bit of a deja vu moment with this scheme.  Didn't this brand use these Teddy Bear heads last Christmas?  While we're not against recycling of course sustainability is absolutely important we did feel a little flat that we have spotted this before.  Ah well, this is our final entry on London anyway for this year as we cross over the pond and stateside to have a look at the latest installations from the Big Apple.  Just watch this space.

Hackett, London

What another great year this brand have had with their windows and another fantastic installation.  It really is quite amazing how they manage to squeeze so much into their spaces at their store along Regent street - but they do.  A great industrial-style installation which appears to be a kind of conveyor belt, surrounded with miniature workers and of course beautifully wrapped gifts.  We always look forward to the schemes here as they put so much effort into their windows.  This is always really appreciated.

Oasis, London

Besides being a great window scheme, one of the key things we like about this installation is the fact that they have mannequins with articulated arms and are not afraid to use them.  So often we find articulated arms straight down with no expression whatsoever (even in luxury brands) however this team clearly know how to handle their kit.  Shame about the 20% decal in the fenestration although thats mid-range brands for you.

Fenwick, London

What a year this brand have had with some incredible installations which have entertained us and continue to stop us in our tracks as we peruse the centre of it all.  Also, as we are now in full swing of the season Fenwick have yet again delivered a killer scheme and we while this is the last entry that we can include for this year we will continue to follow what they do throughout 2019.  Let's get even bigger and raise the benchmark guys and thank you for providing us with some great schemes to share all the way through 2018.

It's been a while since we included this brands' windows as their store tends to be off our usual circuit which we follow on a regular basis, however rocking the snow globes at the moment is Diptyque.   Filled with their gorgeous products these props form quite a simple scheme although they do communicate the season absolutely perfectly.
