Debenhams, London

This is a very colourful installation at Debenhams right now with their 'A Match Made in Debenhams' strap line.  A multitude of coloured concertinaed paper fills these enormous window spaces at their Oxford street store with suspended coloured fluorescent lighting and bird house head mannequins

Topman, London

Topman are rocking a kind of Mondrian meets Michael Jackson's Billie Jean video right now with their repetition of rectangular forms of various colours and white flooring.  Other than that there isn't much more to comment on here although great to see this brand looking so masculine and appealing to their market so well as usual.

Fenwick, London

Clearly with their finger firmly on the culture pulse, Fenwick have tapped in to the latest fantastic offering at the amazing V&A and their latest exhibition; You Say you want a Revolution? Records and labels 1966 - 1970.  If you have walked around town as we so often do then you may have also spotted that Levis has also linked in to the same exhibition as have stores along Carnaby street.  With such icon images of Twiggy, Bowie and so many others, we do love a good period of reflection here in the UK it seems and heaps of nostalgia thrown in too.

Moschino, London

This is a simple yet fun scheme at Moschino right now.  We have seen different versions through social media of this latest promotion and the London one is comparatively very cool.  Other than mannequins emerging from a 'Bear suit' and one straddling the giant head there isn't much more to say about it, although the scheme does pack a punch at their store along Conduit street.

Hugo Boss, London

Gone are the hard silver metal structures and in with a comparatively softer, albeit still very masculine scheme at Hugo Boss.  You have to see this one in the 'flesh' as the lights in the backdrop flash across the windows quite spectacularly.  This is the first scheme we've spotted at this brand where something moved and great to see it progressing beyond its previously very Germanic perspective.

Hermes, London

We can guarantee (well almost) that you havent seen this scheme yet as it has literally only just been unveiled a few short hours ago as we type.  Known for their exquisite artisan products the latest installation in conjunction with the artist Alexandra Kehayoglou is equally exquisite with these stunningly produced pieces which fill the windows at the Bond street store.  Do check inside the store also as there is an additional piece upstairs (image below) which you can experience in all its tactile glory.

Ralph Lauren, London

Ralph Lauren really does know how to create such beautiful interior spaces and the latest one is naturally exceptional.  With a hint of faded glory complete with flaking wallpaper and paneled backdrop the overall aesthetic is one which we adore.  A stunning chandelier, Gold frames and parquet floor generates a fantastic platform where the product sits so perfectly in this 'photoshoot-style installation.

Liberty, London

If you like to follow the amazing annual RIBA collaborations as much as we do, here’s the first scheme we’ve spotted.  Architecture Social Club’s installation focuses on the figure of Arthur Lasenby Liberty and casts him in the role of fashion’s liberator.  ‘Arthur’ is shown to herald a new promise of higher quality fashion for the city and this installation’s narrative involves the iconography of ‘Noah’s ark’ which plays on the naval history of this Tudor-revival building which was constructed in 1924 using the timbers of two ships: the HMS Impregnable and HMS Hindustan.  The detail here is quite phenomenal so do go back several times to take a look.  Truly stunning.

Ralph and Russo, London

If you dont manage to get to Harrods department store here in London then here's a taster for you of what you will find.  The team at www.millingtonassociates.com have recently completed a new pop up installation to showcase the fantastic product from Ralph and Russo.  With Harrods shoe heaven as the backdrop, a cascading chandelier of Wisteria is positioned above the faceted central fixture which has been trimmed in Rose Gold with mirror and glass.

Dior, London

Dior is clearly being taken care of as every scheme coming through is so beautifully executed.  With their repetition of radiating forms the latest scheme at their Bond street store is looking very warm and very slick.  After years of neglect this brand is looking ever more visually appealing.

Sautter, London

We've never noticed this store before and with so many historical references contained within their windows we had thought that they had been here for at least a century.  Not so it  seems.  The store is actually only 50 years old and while it is rather unfashionable to smoke cigars in contemporary society we do like the smell of the unlit ones (a smoking cigar is rather obnoxious we find).  However, it is interesting to find such places, cigar stores appear to be a dying trade and we guess it attracts a certain type of clientele (probably tourists).  The window scheme is wonderfully colourful even if it is a little chaotic.
