Valentino,London

While this is beautiful merchandise which has been so superbly produced, there isn't a scheme to mention.  OK, well we have repetition of Mannequins all perfectly placed but beyond that there's not much else to say?

Ermenegildo Zegna, London

This a fun scheme from Zegna.  We're not entirely sure if its meant to be amusing but it is great fun nonetheless with the repetition of these little figures wearing the same merchandise as the life-sized mannequins, all placed among these angled mirrors.  It was was difficult not to capture ourselves in the reflection but here you go.  A bit of fun, miniature figures, mirrored backdrop in which we can capture our reflection and therefore become part of the installation itself, all of which made us stop and take a closer look so job well done we guess.

Proportion>London, London

Images Courtesy and Copyright Proportion>London

Longevity and Legacy are proving to be key elements for consideration in our fast paced commercial environments.  Where innovation and the 'now' are so necessary by the very nature of what we do, how do we address the burning issue of constant change yet still maintain a competitive edge?  Bring on Proportion>London's latest collection: Components.  The simple repeat positioned bodies which are the linchpin here can be produced by the company en masse.  The heads, arms and hands can then be lavished in as many different finishes as one desires.  As always, the only limitation is our imaginations. So, imagine this collection in shuttered concrete, textured Cork, crackle glaze, or delicious felted wool.  If your budgets are strained, "buy wise and keep forever".

Pucci, London

Pucci don't often do very spectacular window schemes (this isn't one of them either) but we did love the initiative of the Cities of the World pieces being sold at their store along Sloane street.  Once there is an exhibition at either the Met in NYC, the V&A here in London or at Les Art Decortifs in Paris these pieces will become collectors items.  Grab one while you can and if you don't wear it then frame it as they are beautiful anyway.

Dolce and Gabbana, London

This is not our favourite scheme out there on the high street but clearly the 'folklore' trend is flying high at Dolce and Gabbana here in the centre of it all; well at least at this store anyway.  We haven't seen the trend much anywhere else although of course there is time and it may pop up elsewhere, in which case we will make the links for you if you cant see these schemes yourself.

Gucci, London

There's something very eery / ghostly or possibly spiritual about this scheme at Gucci right now?  Hanging from chains the luxury clothing has been suspended in a gravitational format as if the bodies which contained them have slipped away leaving only the carcass of the product.  This is a very powerful scheme in the absence of any 'persons' demonstrating how to wear of use their product although we were unable to link this to anything political or topical?

Hogan, London

This was quite a nice surprise to find along Sloane street.  We have seen the bowler hats before of course although in these relatively small windows in this repetition and gravitational format and in these colours it does actually look quite superb when you see it.  We weren't quite sure what to say about the previous scheme here although this one does have heaps of personality for sure.

Dolce and Gabbana, London

Check out these props at Dolce & Gabbana along Bond street right now.  While their other store further along the street is showing the Folklore trend here we have a bit of nostalgia with the use of old vinyl records in a repetition format creating the backdrop in conjunction with these old style record players on which have been placed rotating shoes.  A delicious scheme we thought.

Fenwick, London

The main window at Fenwick is looking particularly sparkly with their Fine Jewellery installation ' For Your Soul'.  We couldn't find a link on their website which would tell us a bit more than this unless it was hidden in plain site?  But anyway, superb and gigantic installation in these gorgeous Copper tones.

Lanvin, London

Lanvin have been producing some really interesting schemes here in London recently and this one, possibly Neo-Vanitas meets Bloom consists of both a mannequin and product in mirrored boxes.   This is quite an odd scheme in many respects although how wonderful to view such an abstract concept in a store window.  We don't really mind that it may not actually make any sense to everyone, perhaps there are links somewhere to explain it (although we doubt it) however it does challenge us and it does make us think and wonder what it all may mean (or mean nothing at all) and we like that.

Louis Vuitton, London

We're not entirely sure whether the links here are to the details of Nicolas Ghesquiere's 2016 Cruise collection or to the Totemism trend (where Memphis meets Africa).  Either way the colours of course are delicious and the shimmering backdrop really lifts this scheme.  OK, well, it is a little Luxe-vulgar for our preference but these guys are the best in the world at what they do and second to none so we feel slightly obliged to honour it even if we don't particularly like it ourselves.

Ralph Lauren, London

More Balls please..........Ralph has gone all Wimbledon this week with the pending championships here in London at the end of this month.  Large screens with sound vibrating through the fenestration, their latest scheme oozes all the glamour and sophistication of the event.  Beautiful propped sets of architectural proportions look superb too.

Anya Hindmarch, London

Pop Art lives...!  We are always slightly cautious of brands which revive old and slightly iconic motifs from yesteryear as they tend to do them so horribly (think Moschino) however the craftsmanship of the product here wins us over and also that the brand have in this case toned down the garish colours of the original Frosties Tony the Tiger and created a superb product which of course has been presented so well in these tiny windows.
