We're always feel rather dubious when we see these kinds of promotions in fast fashion brands' windows.  We've all heard this stuff before and a lot of Green washing is the usual go-to.  Anyway, great windows with the brand logo in fun fur and the strap line Time to Change!.  Indeed.  In collaboration with PETA, the brand have launched a PETA-approved animal friendly collection (what were they doing before then?) called the Co-exist story for womenswear, menswear and kids wear.  Products retail from £9.99 apparently.  A collaboration with an organisation such as the workers rights consortium in Bangladesh would have got us more interested however.

We dont have access to emoji's on this platform however if we did we would be clicking on the OMG face and the sad one with the tears.  What on earth happened to this amazing installation?  Just a few weeks ago we were lavishing Visual Merchandising love on these windows and all thats left are the bricks where those amazing pieces were placed.  Its like a reverse version of cars on blocks although in this case the blocks have been left and the cars has been stolen.  From our years of experience (and to be honest it is a guess) we imagine that someone senior from HQ didnt like the windows and told everyone to take out what was an amazing installation.  The fools (enter eye-rolling emoji here)

Dolce and Gabbana, London

We have been slighly spoiled by this brand this year as they have, despite all of the on-going problems in the world still presented us with their very creative window schemes.  Right now however there isnt a great deal to see although this might (just might) be as they are preparing for the installation of their Christmas scheme.  In the meantime we present you with some very glossy and sparkly windows but without Visual Merchandising (unless you include the mannequins).

Zara, London

We captured this a few weeks ago when they also had what we think was possibly a Halloween element in the front windows.  We think anyway.  As always, super quality installations prevail at this brand with their current one nodding to film set-style references at least at their Bond street store.  We don't often see intersting narratives at these types of brands, i.e. global players so great know how valuable their visual merchandising is to them.

Mount Street Printers, London

 

Ok, well, strap yourself in here come the Christmas schemes.  This is actually the first one we have come across but they will start coming at us thick and fast very soon.  In fact, we have heard that some of the major brands have already begun their campaigns and after such a rough year who can blame them?  Here at Mount street Printers, the store have once again delivered a killer scheme in their one window.  The store here this year have been a gift that just keeps on giving.  Thank you guys..!

Since we came across this brands' store along Mount street we seem to see the brand logo just about everywhere.  Clearly there is quite a push to elevate the presence of the brand and just about every avenue is being explored.  In the meantime,  their store along Mount street looks mightily impressive with their living wall-style installation.

Pringle, London

We've seen some really great schemes at this brand although this was some time ago when we seem to remember that they had a store along Bond street?  Weren't they in the current Victoria's Secret site years ago?  Anyway, while they've been on Mount street we havent really felt inclined to capture their windows as nothing very exciting happens here although great to see an artist collaboration for now.  We just wish that they could have put a bit of energy behind the scheme.

Its not very often that we get to see this store without its secutiry grille down in front of the glass, so we thought we had better act quickly to capture what we saw.  OK, well, there isn't anything particularly visual going on here although we do love this brands' products and the curved structure is fairly interesting.  We'v also of course included an interior shot of the store from the front door so that can have a sneak peak inside.

We're trying so hard not to be mean about this brand (none of us need it right now, do we?) although a little part of us does tend to die when we look at their schemes.  There is a certain style to what they do which can never really work out but they do produce a lot of schemes for which we are grateful at least.  We're guessing the idea is that this a pop-up book, maybe?

Wow, just look at this scheme.  In all of the years we have followed the windows at this brand, this must be the best installation we have ever seen them produce.  Ok, well there were a few memorable ones here and there but this one is wow.  Just. Wow.  What we particularly love about this is not just the graphic elements we can see here and the fact that there is no product but also that they have been bold enough to come out of the windows and onto the street.  Amazing guys..!

Etro, London

There appears to be quite a lot going on in these windows at the moment but we love it.  Tech and pattern everywhere and just some little pops of colourful product.  We always see such interesting schemes here and no doubt Christmas will be a blast.  There is no obvious narrative here so we're guessing that this is a product-led scheme.

What could possibly more desirable than a gorgeous piece from this incredible brand?  Showcasing some of their historical pieces in their windows right now and we think they've included one of the batten trunks and a couple of their Limousine trunks from 1905.  Apparently the latter trunks fit perfectly on top of a Limousine just in case you were looking.

Pomellato, London

We've never thought to include this brand previously although of course these kinds of windows without the product can always look rather odd.  However we were struck by the amazing colours of these jewel-like glass structures in the background which look so appealing.  It transpires that this brand first launched in 1967 in Milan and has quite a few interesting, mainly Hollywood advocates.
