We suddenly realised as we were sorting through our images for here that this is the only brand where we include the details of the mannequins in our posts.  No other brand invests so much time in this detail which is why we love these guys so much.  The current scheme is fairly simple compared to their previous schemes although this could either be pandemic-led or simply what the current vibe determined.  Either way we love what these guys do.

Giorgio Armani, London

We recently included the Emporio Armani scheme from this brands' Bond street site and while we were initially at least rather underwhelmed with this one also at first glance, on reflection it is actually rather beautiful.  Ok, well there is no theatre, and goodness knows no humour (God forbid any luxury brand actually crack a smile) but there is a wonderful subtlety which we love about it through the use of the very fine leaf prints which you just about see on the screens behind the product.

Jo Malone, London

As each week passes it becomes ever more difficult to find new schemes to share with you.  Fortunately as London is such a large city there are a few areas which we can draw upon on rotation although it appears that so many retailers have closed that the empty shop units look like missing teeth on the high street.  Fortunately this brand have installed this beautiful scheme.  We saw something similar-ish in Paris at Dior some time ago although this too is exquisitely produced.  Ok, well the Cat in the window is scarily of land-of-the-giants proportions and that Wisteria is enormous by comparison.  However, scale aside this is quite a beautiful scheme.

Burberry, London

Wow  this brand have been so refreshed recently that they're almost squeaking.  With the recent launch of their limited edition B series which presents their first in-game, NFT, Sharky B and their NFT accessories collection the brand have installed these very expensive looking (and probably were) huge digital cubed and suspended screens which absolutely glow across Knightsbridge right now.  We've also included a short video below for you so that you can see it in action.

Loro Piana, London

We've been following this brand for some time now as they consistently produce interesting schemes.  It is one however which we know very little about and have never actually been inside any of their stores;  We guess that we're not the target customer.  While we have seen this type of scheme previously, i.e. stranded curtains as a backdrop although in this case, in a repetition of a curved form, the colours are beautifully produced although we are not huge fans of the hanging bust forms which do the product no favours at all.  There's a slightly ghostly feel to them in fact.

Diesel, London

Beautiful tones in this window along Knightsbridge here in the centre of it all.  We were actually trying to work out what this window was about and to see if we could link it to one of their campaigns.  Spoiler alert we couldn't.  However while searching across their website we did find that they do produce a lot of homeware products also.  This is completely new news to us and some fine stuff there is too.  We cant imagine searching their site for new flooring however but good to know that they do it.  Have a look, they're doing some great stuff.

Loewe, London

We've been trying to recall where this brand had their store previously.  Was it Mount street?  We managed to capture some great schemes in the old store although this one along Bond street just doesn't work as well at all.  Open backed windows are fine of course although at night time when that security grille comes down, it just kills this space completely.  We really want to love what they do here but we find ourselves not even liking it.  What a shame, such a great brand too.

Hugo Boss, London

Its been a while since we looked at or included this brand although while they produce great quality schemes they are not always the most exciting to look at.  We were drawn to this one though as while it is quite simple they've actually produced a really interesting installation.  Ok, well there is a large format graphic included which we always dread although given the volume of stores they have we can understand why.  The addition of a very convincing rock formation does add considerably to the scheme with a slightly juxtaposed graphic flooring.

We always wonder when we look at retail store windows on such a regular basis whether some brands have convinced themselves that visual merchandising is just not their thing?  Or, perhaps not right for their brand.  We often see such lukewarm schemes out there on the high street which also makes us wonder if some brands actually have any visual specialists at all.  We are scouring the high street for just about anything visual happening right now but unfortunately we've used up all the good stuff.  In the meantime here's Emporio Armani.

If you haven't seen the latest exhibition at the fabulous V&A then what are you waiting for?  We all need inspiration for our work and of course it should be fed regularly.  Even if you are not a big fan of this type of product it will be worth your while anyway.  Bags from Her Maj,  Thatcher, Carrie Bradshaw, to name but a few together with the despatch box from Winston Churchill himself are included here.  You wont be disappointed.  More images are available on our Insta account.

Dolce and Gabbana, London

We actually spotted this scheme a few weeks ago and we are still trying to work out how we feel about it.  We love the floral arches and of course the narrative around the installation although we think its the bust forms which are putting us off actually loving this installation.  Mannequins would have possibly worked a lot better here for us, generating a far more glamorous outcome, even if the product is rather casual.  But, thats just our thoughts.

Mount Street Printers, London

Grrrrr.  We love the window here.  We have included it several times as they obviously care about what is happening in their one space and change it quite regularly.  We love you guys for it too.  We think that they probably just have this one store although we don't actually know very much about them.  Anyway, the current scheme which was produced by @thisisnathanward (clearly very talented) looks great and its wonderful see something visual at this end of Mount street while other stores have sadly faded away.

Purdey, London

We discovered this very established brand a few years ago although we still dont know very much about them however they do produce some great schemes.  Situated towards the end of the commercial area of Mount street the brand clearly take their visual merchandising very seriously (thank goodness) and we imagine invest in someone (or perhaps a team?  maybe freelancers?) to implement their schemes.  Currently these gorgeous moss and bark covered panels have been created as a backdrop to the product in their half-backed windows.
