Tiffany, London

There's something quite unique about the windows at this store besides the fact they always produce such wonderful installations.  There are always smears on the glass.   This is, no doubt due to the volume of people we guess trying to get a closer look at the product and drooling at the spectacle and it is something we only seem to come across here.  Anyway, we don't quite understand the concept here although there are flashes and slashes of scenes from NYC and therefore we guess links to the brands' heritage.  As always, a superbly and perfectly produced installation.

Fendi, London

The windows here are quite a nightmare to capture.  As you can see from the image at the bottom, there is pillar right in front of the fenestration which makes it impossible to capture the scheme straight on.  Anyway,  even with out rather angled images we're sure can appreciate what the brand have done here with their arch form structures which fill the space at their Bond street store.

Versace, London

We have been trying to recall when this brand moved in and Bally who were here before moved out although we seem to have completely lost track of time and everything over the past year is a bit of a blur.  Anyway, we have previously seen some interesting schemes at this brand although they can be a little hit and miss and one minute they implement a killer installation and then the next one is very simple.  Perhaps it's a budget thing.  Anyway, its no real surprise that this scheme is fairly simple given the circumstances which we find ourselves in however they have at least produced something and this is appreciated.

Roger Vivier, London

We first came across this brand in Paris quite a few years ago now although we hadn't always realised that they had a store here in London too.  We occasionally include them here as they do actually produce some quite interesting schemes such as this one.  A large and very Pink cat prop fills one half of their relatively small window space while the other half uses these bright Green coloured decorative plinths on to which is place the product.

Tods, London

For some strange reason this post appears to have been deleted previously by our host site before it actually launched therefore we are slightly delayed in bringing todays entry to you.  Here at Tods, they appear to have adopted a music / musical instrument theme at their store along Bond street compete with rockstar-style guitar and keyboards, albeit Tod-ified.  Small products such as theirs are not easy to show well however as always another super quality produced installation from this brand.

Tods, London

Its been a while since we looked at this brand but as always they have produced a great quality scheme.  The theme or inspiration for this appears to be based on music and musical instruments in particular with the inclusion of a rock guitar and keyboard.  Albeit of course Tod-ified in a range of materials.  Small goods are not easy to present in an interesting way although this brand always produces such interesting concepts.

Ermenegildo Zegna, London

This brand always make such an effort with their schemes which are not only always so impressive but very much appreciated too.  They first appeared on our radar several years ago with their installation at the department store Harrods here in London and we've followed what they do ever since.  Currently their scheme appears to be a kind of reference to fibres / thread complete with reels and neon thrown in with the strap line What makes my Man Zegna.   Indeed.

Delvaux, London

We've been following this brand since they moved into this store along Bond street with these incredibly decorative and inherited window spaces.  Their installations have always been so interesting too.  Even in what are still difficult times and no doubt very busy prop suppliers they still have managed to pull off a great scheme complete with back panelling through which Wheat fields are bursting.  Once we all get back into some kind of rhythm we're sure that they will be back with a vengeance.

Dolce and Gabbana, London

One thing of note about this brand is that they do some quite interesting schemes.  Just look at the multitude of colours and these incredible patterns.  Large screen props fill the background to their open backed windows in front of which are small plinths in a pyramidal format presenting the product.  This is just one of the brands' stores along Bond street here in the centre of it all although we will share their other stores' scheme with you shortly.

Tory Burch, London

We havent quite made up our minds about this woven cane window.  We do love the reference to Craft and it is great to see that no technology has been used as a short cut to an installation although we are not entirely sure about the structures here.  Perhaps if the 'flowers' (we're guessing thats what they are) actually filled the whole space then we would be looking at it from an interesting texture / structure perspective although placed like this doesn't quite do it for us right now.

Moschino, London

We've never particularly liked the schemes at this brand although we have to say that this one is actually very interesting.  Great to see a bit of theatre again on the high street too.  With there marionette and narrative-led scheme this is actually one of the more interesting schemes out there right now.  Thankfully they do tend to steer clear of large format graphics and they obviously invest in schemes and while they are not always the highest quality in production value they do at least provide some level of differentiation.

Hermes, London

The Arts have suffered, and continue to suffer, during this terrible time however like a phoenix rising out of the ashes of the pandemic the windows around town are looking amazing.  We adore what this brand do with their windows and it still amazes us how they produce such different schemes across their stores.  But they do.  Although we have no idea what this scheme is about, it doesn't matter.  Its uplifting, interesting and grabbed out attention.  Job done.

Alexander McQueen, London

Its has been such a long time since we included this brand although beyond the amazing insect covered structure which has been in place for some time now they haven't actually produced anything visual.  Until now.  How incredible does this look, eh!  Tonnes of product in both a repetition and gravitational format fill the giant windows at their Bond street store right now.
