Lululemon, London

We cant ever remember including this brand on this site for some reason however even just looking at the contorted movements and positions of these mannequins.....positions we might add that we surely will never find ourselves in....is quite exhausting after a long night on the town.  However, as always this brand looks quite dynamic and we guess completely communicates exactly what they do.

Karl Lagerfeld, London

As London continues to swelter right now......although we dont like to complain.....however as usual we are just not organised to accomodate anything other than a temperate climate. But, at least Toblerones are reverting back to their original size.  You heard it here first.  In the meantime, large letters in retail store windows seems to be a 'thing' at the moment across at least some brands (ref. yesterdays entry from Hunter) and here at KL, there is at least a nod in this direction, in conjunction of course with a fabulous Red and Black and White stripey backdrop.

Hunter, London

Who knew Wellington boots could be so sexy?  The product is clearly hurtling to the top of everyones must-have list although to be honest with the hot weather we're experiencing here in London these would be like wearing a 15 tog duvet on your feet.  Hot rubber in Summer.....lovely.  Still, the brand have made these little puppies super sexy and if they good enough for the likes of Professor Green, Kate Middleton, Katherine Jenkins....the list goes on, then they are good enough for us too.  So, go on, heed the windows instructions and go and play.

Philipp Plein, London

Its not often that we see this kind of 'reference' in store windows here in London and quite sensationalist it is too, dont you think?  Producing this kind of scheme can backfire spectacularly if the vibe 'out there' just isn't right.....and it isn't right now....... and to be honest its not very clever and a slightly desperate attempt for attention.....soooooo not f**cking fresh either.  We will probably file this away as 40 years after the vibe for this kind of scheme here in London happened.  This is brand is just not cool enough to pull it off.  Pop it into Selfridges or Harvey Nicks and we will smile knowingly.

Fendi, London

We're so pleased (genuinely) to hear that Sir Cliff has won his privacy case, although we've also read that the man who threw a bacon roll at an ariline stewardess has been fined and of course lets not forget the man who fell through a fence with a stolen garden gnome.  How dreadfully uneventful life is this week, eh?  Apprently the gnome was later found destroyed outside a nearby block of flats.  Outrageous stuff this.  Still, at least Fendi has a corker of a scheme complete with coloured metallic balloons in a heart formation and an airline luggage trolly....albeit a very luxurious one, obvs.

Dolce and Gabbana, London

We're not quite sure that D&G are on a sustainability streak right now although didnt we see this scheme (or a version of it) at Christmas time?  With their references to all things funfair....well bits at least....this 'D&G family' scheme is the current installation at one of their Bond st sites.....they have two don't cha know.  We probably would have preferred something along the lines of sideshow acts or perhaps something more exotic ourselves,  probably not exactly politically correct although bed of nails blade box and electric chairs as apparently featured in the The Sideshow Museum, in Uranus (no sniggering please, its a place in Missouri, USA) would have been a bit more interesting.

Cos, London

Well finally the World Cup has been notched off and someone is apparently 'Putin America First' but at least the tennis is all done and dusted too and we can carry on as normal while someone finds a tudor shipwreck and Southgate tube station is temporarily renamed, well, you can guess.  Here at Cos meanwhile, we're encouraged to watch this space (according to the vinyl on the fenestration) as the brand explores the process of their latest print.  So, if you like to watch paint dry (quite literally, we're guessing) then pop along to Regent st to have a look.

Etro, London

Last week was quite something wasn't it.....the Orange man from across the pond was in town, blimpy the balloon baby hovered over Parliament square and banners with 'Orange Fascists Dont Deserve Red Carpets', 'We shall overcomb' and our favourite 'Trump is a C**t' (you're welcome) seem to be ones that keep popping into our heads after we got caught up in the demos all across town.  In the meantime, this was a really difficult scheme to capture....thank you evening daylight....however continuing with their interiors theme and an interesting use of a convex mirror here, Etro have yet again produced a great quality scheme and fantastic use of colour that would rival Prada.   Thankfully not a lot of Orange however.

Coach, London

Rocking the old NYC references is Coach right now.  One of the best things this brand did (besides producing great products) was to move to this space along Regent street where the old Jaegar store used to be......remember them?  We've had a quick glance around the 'net' and it seems that Jaegar only have one stand-alone store left and the rest are concessions within department stores, but at least they aren't owned (as far as we know) by one of the monolithic brands out there...are they?  Anyway, thankfully these windows lend themselves to great schemes with huge impact and goodness knows they make use of them.

Aquascutum, London

Long gone are the days when this brand had their huge store along Regent street and amazing schemes although thankfully they haven't died a death and still around producing the superb quality products that they were always known for.  We understand that they were bought by a bigger brand at some point (we cant remember who?) so at least they haven't vanished into the ether.  However, as we've known them from their 'glory' days we are willing them to produce bigger and bolder schemes just as they used to do....maybe we have to be more patient.

Delvaux, London

Now this is an interesting new scheme which we spotted at the old Russell and Bromley store along Bond street the other evening.  The Belgian leather goods brand Delvaux have moved in and produced an incredible scheme.....no easy task as the existing details on these windows, while beautiful and unusual are no easy task to work with.  However with some deftly produced paper sculpting of the various iconic elements around London, this is a fantastic launch for this amazing brand.

Weekday, London

This is the first Pride scheme from this brand which we've seen although given that they have only been around a short time this is no surprise and very welcome it is too.  Suspended coloured lighting fill the backdrop behind the product with the strap lines, Raise you flag, Raise your voice.  Indeed.

Michael Kors, London

There are a mixture of things here.  Of course there is the nod to Pride (thats cool) and naturally the main promotion which is their SS18 collection together with enormous flora filling their windows in conjunction with their product.  This tropical trend has been for a while although this version is quite an interesting one and makes a big statement in these vast windows at their store along Regent street.
