Louis Vuitton, London

We've been wracking our brains to work out what this form is within the scheme at the smaller Louis Vuitton stores.  Perhaps an 'Apse'?  An Apse is a semicircular recess covered with a hemispherical vault or semi-dome, the kind of thing one would find in Cathedrals or church architecture where the alter is usually placed or in this case delicious bags.  No doubt the products here are encouraging plenty of worshiping at their Sloane street store.

Ermenegildo Zegna, London

With hints to the Year of the Monkey and highlighting the details of their amazing products, Zegna have incorporated beautiful bell jars (or glass domes) within their scheme at their store along Sloane street.  The glass domes have been used to form the backdrop to the mannequin and focus on the craftsmanship and tailoring that this brand are so recognised for and placed in a repetition and gravitational format.

Marc Jacobs, Harrods, London

If you have been passed Harrods recently then no doubt you would have come across this promotional scheme across several of their windows.  A kind of land of the giants installation with Bull Terriers in a repetition format and out sized lipstick, mascara and other beauty products this scheme is both enormously fun and impeccably produced for Marc Jacobs and this iconic luxury brand store.

Harvey Nichols, London

We don't know if there is any meaning behind the latest scheme at Harvey Nichols although does that matter?  If you happen to be in Knightsbridge this scheme shines like a beacon with huge doses of drama using abstract forms and amazing lighting.  Check out out video here if you cant go and see it for yourself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kKu_0lTSx4

Dior, London

A very simple scheme at Dior right now using vertical lines to form the backdrop to their product.  We think the lights are the same colour range as their recent Christmas scheme although this is probably a low maintenance installation for this brand which always appears rather unloved on the high streets around the world apart from their flagship store in Paris.

Aishti, Beirut

Images Courtesy and Copyright Sagmeister and Walsh

Just in case you thought we had forgotten to include any Valentines schemes here's one just for you.  This combination of two and three dimensional elements for Aishti, Beirut features a Sagmeister and Walsh graphic with the use of the repetition of the arrow form.  As always, with this brand the final result is a dynamic installation by Arte Vetrina Project with a less than obvious focus on this retail calendar event which is much appreciated.

Salvatore Ferragamo, London

Ferragamo have finally injected some fun into their schemes and appear to have ditched the old wooden fixtures that they seemed to have had for so long.  The latest scheme should appeal to the much younger market perhaps which luxury brands are possibly realising is the future of their longevity?  Old customers are already in the bag (so to speak) so why keep focusing on the existing and bring in the new.  Great strategy if this is the case?

Hogan, London

If you havent seen the latest scheme at Hogan, flashing away as we write, then here's a snapshot for you.  There is an ever so slightly epileptic seizure inducing feel about this scheme, although thats not meant in a derogatory way, just be careful if you see it.  Large lighting flashes focus the eye onto the product which is elevated on mirrored plinths and surrounded by these 'trees' of pricey trainers and suspended jewels.  References to our recent London weather no doubt.  To obtain a better view of this scheme in all its glory just check out of video either below or through this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tRRVKBoRzg

Tom Ford, London

As one would expect, Tom Ford has delivered another very slick scheme at his Bond street store.  We did raise a smile slightly as the flooring in this scheme has a mirrored finish; possibly every females nightmare, apart from the glass floor and, well, a series of other nightmares which we don't care to mention.  Fortunately mannequins are not anatomically correct and so there is no real need for them to wear underwear however either the team wanted to raise a cheeky smile or maybe no-one even noticed that any passersby can get a good old eye full up right these female mannequins dresses.  Needless to say that whether cheeky or not it doesn't quite titillate our senses but one never knows when the latter-day Mary Whitehouse or any other person with anti liberalism views might be passing by and of course who has greater clout than us.  #Goodjobitsnotthemiddleeast  #thankgoodnessforlondon #cheeky #gigglinglikenaughtyschoolboys #whocaresanyway #willanyonenotice #anypublicityisgoodpublicityweguess

Ralph Lauren, London

There's a bit of an equestrian theme happening at Ralph Lauren at the moment and an interesting focus on their product.  Of course we have the stock Yasmin's as one would expect - looking very nipply too (Yasmin Le Bon  is the mannequin created by Rootsteins during the early 90's; we seem to remember 1992) and naturally their presentation is as slick as ever.  To see a better overview of course you can click on our video below or through the link here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QY4GXp4-xvM

Fortnum and Mason, London

'Discover the Details' is the strap line at Fortnum and Mason right now in conjunction with their impeccable presentation and of course delicious products.  Out sized magnifying glasses dwarf the merchandise here with some really interesting anecdotes ranging from 'An Empire built on Candles (how the store came into being) to playful information regarding how many bubbles there are in their Champagne (can you imagine actually trying to count them?).  Everything as always is beautifully delivered and perfectly illuminated.  To see the overview check out our video below or through the link here  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIXDDBpePaE
