Burberry, London

Burberry appear to be running several schemes across their London stores right now and we haven't actually worked out why?  The Architectural installation at their Regent street store of course is impressive and naturally draws the eye of the passerby into the centre of the scheme and surrounded by their usual delicious products.  The strap line for this scheme is Happy New Lunar Year.  #slightlyconfused

Desigual, London

We do adore a great Desigual scheme and were particularly drawn to the collaged treatment of the mannequin here at their Regent street store (a bit of creativity is always appreciated).  Launching their SS16, Learn !! collection in store and online, the product for females as always has that certain Desigual signature.  We always find menswear however sadly tucked right at the back of their stores as if they are slightly apologetic that they even have any.  #beefupthemenswear

Hermes, London

We haven't quite worked out what the theme is for 2016 at this brand although as always they have implemented another incredible scheme to kick start this year.  Beautiful layers generate this sense of depth within their relatively small window spaces to create these interconnecting burrows complete with plant and paper engineered wild life combined with their amazing product.  We are huge fans of the artisan quality of their products; yes, they are expensive but when you have seen how they are produced they really are worth every penny and if you have the cash to spare, treat yourself.  To get a better view of this scheme you can of course as usual check out our video below or through the link here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IhL5jXBt1I

Anthropologie, London

Summer must be on its way to London soon, surely?  At Anthropologie, the brand have recently installed these giant Sunflowers (or Helianthus if you prefer the scientific name), all beautifully hand made and looking stunning as always.  There isn't very much more we can say about this scheme without gushing but if you happen to be on Regent street then do go and check them out.

Sophie Hulme, Harrods, London

If you haven't seen the first pop-up space by Sophie Hulme at Harrods, then here's a snapshot for you.  Working in collaboration with those lovely guys at Elemental Design, the Go Bananas resort collection is showcased against these bold stripes and a Palm and Banana print backdrop.  In addition to this there is a Black branded logo above a Brass focal point and free standing fixtures in Corian and polished Brass to create this stunning space for this premium brand.  This is one space certainly worth taking the time away from work for some retail worshiping.

Karl Lagerfeld, London

If you've recently walked the high street as we do in order to immerse ourselves in everything that is happening you will have noticed the emergence of more and more technology used to enhance the shopping experience.  Here at Karl Lagerfeld, the fantastic team at Harlequin Design have implemented this incredible European-wide roll out with this brilliantly fun KARL ROBOT complete with LED scrolling text is combined with chasing LED waves on bag plinths and mannequin heads.  Inside the store, smaller KARL ROBOT'S have been installed as focal points on shelves.  If you happen to be on Regent street do go and experience this if you can or you can check out our YouTube video below or through the link here.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O3vkdMUMAU

Stefanel, Berlin

This brand is a slight blast from the past.  Do we still have this one in London?  Giant sweets props and slightly unappetizing looking popcorn support the product although a great bit of fun to end our visit here.

Sammlung Boros Collection, Berlin

We have included this place previously as it is quite a staggering experience just to be here, and it is Visual merchandising, well of sorts anyway. In a former Nazi bunker (as well as several reincarnations)  this building houses the Boros Collection; an incredible gallery of the most amazing contemporary Art works. You need to book a tour through the space as it is essentially a home as well as a gallery.  If you are one of the super privileged then you may even have had the opportunity to visit the apartment situated on top of this building.  In the meantime, we could only take limited images but do go and check this place out as it is quite a corker of an experience.

OK, Berlin

If you like your goods recycled, up-cycled or just interesting then look no further than OK Berlin.  This amazing store has a fantastic variety of handmade goods from around the world to tantalize you, and at very respectable prices too.  So if you are searching for some religious candles which offer hours of worshiping for free or some industrial lamps to make your interior look cool then look no further than this store.  Unfortunately we couldn't find their website so just wander around Mitte, possibly on Alte Schönhauser Str.  (on the same street as the fabulous Monsieur Vuong)

Bugaboo Diesel, Berlin

This is one brand we never thought we would include here - ever.  However, for a store which essentially sells posh pushchairs or strollers (depending on where you are reading this) this is actually incredibly interesting.  A Fine Artists studio space complete with paint splattered chair, books, table and so on fill this space.  This is not quite what we would have expected to see from this brand, but a nice surprise and ties in very nicely indeed with their website.

Nudie Jeans, Berlin

When was the last time you washed your jeans?  Today? Yesterday? Or several months ago?  At Nudie, who have a fantastic sustainability philosophy in place as part of their branding suggest perhaps that we should be a little more hesitant with washing our denim so frequently and maybe we might actually be better leaving our fav. bits out of that hot washing cycle and wearing them that little bit longer, in fact 5 months longer.  What we have found however is one of their amazing repair shops, so if you find that *those wears and tears are not on trend, *you are finally over the hipster look,  *after 5 months you manage to crack those trusty Jeans in half (*delete as appropriate) then drop them off to these guys who will cheerily repair them for you (if they don't actually manage to walk there themselves after 5 months).  In the meantime, great philosophy and fantastic to see this 'make do and mend' option although we will be washing our denim as frequently as normal. #wouldntwanttoworkhereinsummer
