Dior, London

Dior is sporting large out sized flowers at the moment in a repetition format.  This is not quite our preference but then these kind of luxury brands seem to get away with a certain amount of 'vulgarity' which others appear to follow.  Anyway, here's their latest scheme in all its glory.

Bonaveri Launch new Aloof Mannequin, London

Were you at the incredible Bonaveri launch last night?  If you weren't invited then here's a little snapshot for you.  The whole event was presented in one of the coolest places in West London; dinner, drinks and London's finest and most glittering fashion crowd socialised and partied all evening surrounded by the latest collection produced in collaboration with the guys at Chameleon Design (who incidentally designed these gorgeous invitations and catalogue).  Here's some images to drool over and we don't mind gushing a little and saying that this really was one of the coolest places to be last night.  If you are reading this then you missed it or you are reading this through your hang over some time today.

If you happen to be in Milan then you should check out the windows at Annarita N.  Produced by those clever guys at Arte Vetrina Project for Milan Fashion week this installation uses vintage illuminated out sized letter forms spelling out the brand name in the most delicious colours.  We can guarantee this scheme really looks spectacular particularly at nighttime.

Harvey Nichols, London

We recently showed you the front windows from this store but as usual even the side windows (in this case along Sloane Street) also look rather incredible.  With the repetition of their product and gravity defying mannequins creating these amazing patterns we couldn't help but resist including them.

Fendi, London

Hopefully you saw the incredible new Fendi store along Bond street which we showed last week, but, as you can see here, the store along Sloane street has quite a different scheme and what fun..!  With their metallic Balloons in a repetition format in one window and and an out sized one the other it really is quite unbelievable that a scheme so simple could be so clever, simple and of course beautifully produced.

We were rather wowed to receive these images; just look at the detail in this incredible scheme.  Working in conjunction with those lovely guys at Harlequin Design (you can see more of their work by clicking the banner below) the team here have for the first time created an interactive installation  which enables the customer to journey through the space in order to enhance their visual experience.  Based on one of the key SS14 trends, Organza Lace, and featuring figures from the Atrezzo Mannequin company the brand really have so beautifully blurred the boundaries between Art and Design.

Diane Von Furstenberg, London

Gravitational spheres in a repetition format against a Red and White backdrop is whats rocking DVF right now.  A simple scheme, but of course the execution is as always (well nearly) perfectly produced.

Coach, London

With their large grassy letter 'C's embedded with Green flowers in a repetition format coach is looking really cool right now.  There's not much more to say about it but it does look rather impressive.

Billionaire, London

We were rather impressed with the props at this store although our eyes still smart at the name of this brand.  This couldn't be a more nauseous buttock clenching brand name if it tried and this is probably why we have avoided including it to date.  That said, the presentation does look good and they clearly are a wealthy brand if they can have a store along Sloane street here in the centre of it all. There is obviously a market for their stuff so who cares what we think, right?  The brand name is still just awful however.

Rare Basic, London

Whether you are a luxury, mid-range, value or independent retailer and you happen to be looking for new mannequins or fixtures then look no further than Rare Basic.  Located in North London their gorgeous new showroom really is worth a visit.  This was our first opportunity although we've known the guys here for years; we just don't know why it took us so long to get ourselves there but then we guess that's London life for you.  Anyway, do check out their website http://rarebasic.co.uk/ or like us, take some time out and arrange a visit; the guys are so accommodating and helpful that you really wont regret it. But, be warned, you will find yourself drooling over their products and you will find that you want it all.

Oakley, New York

Images Courtesy and Copyright Moment Factory

If you happen to be in NYC then you must go and see the brand spanking new Oakley store along 5th Avenue.  'Moment Factory' has created a multimedia installation for Oakley’s new flagship store, which opened officially on May 1, 2014. Moment Factory's concept had to successfully fit within the architectural design of the store, while also expressing the brand’s strong connection to technological innovation. Check out their Vimeo video here which is rather delicious https://momentfactory.box.com/s/w1ur1uezz724ln56aa8a The store’s long and narrow footprint also created opportunities to explore movement and create a coherent visual impact over a long distance; Retail operations were also a key consideration in the design process with this incredible ceiling mounted digital installation.

Fendi, London

Well, the Fendi store has finally opened along Bond street here in the centre of it after what seems months of anticipation and wow what a fantastic opening scheme.  What you are unable to view in these images are the new Aloof Mannequins designed by the guys at Chameleon who no doubt had a hand in the execution of this gorgeous scheme.  We are able to tell this simply because the finish in what they do is always so exceptional.  Just look at the details here even on the key pad.  Amazing stuff.
