Smythson, London


We have to confess that we are not massive fans of this scheme, although with Sale windows in place in just about every other retailer in town, it was quite a necessary inclusion for today.  It is fun in a way but we do find that the colours are incredibly garish, the product very expensive and we're not sure that these two elements work well together, what do you think?  Expensive brand looking cheap?

  1. I'm not a big fan of Smythson products, but I personally really like these windows - I think their schemes have improved a lot recently and hope to always see better and better because it's a brand with a lot of potential I think.
    The colours are a good cheer-up and reflect the product - it's summer after all - and don't think they look cheap at all...they are a good way of representing the britishness of the brand in a witty way...who said that luxury can't be fun and colourful?
    way to go for me...
