As we usually take our images during the evening time there is no product in these windows however just look at how stunning this scheme is.  This brand really do make a huge effort to have great window spaces and yet we've never known anyone here who designs and implements them (thats very much a mystery) however we take our hat off to you and a great new scheme.

What an absolutely gorgeous scheme at this brand right now and bang on time for the current London weather.  Filled with stunning flora of various sizes this window scheme is just fabulous and actually we don't care that the shoes blend so well with the background as this installation just works so well.

Max Mara, London

This is possibly one of the nicest schemes we've seen at this brand for a while in beautiful cool Blue tones.  Everything about this appears stress free and so incredibly relaxed with these semi-sheer structures framing the scene perfectly.  We love the Poodle props too..!

There's a wonderful crispness about these windows right now, don't you think?  We do love these kinds of land-of-the-giants type schemes with massive outsized props and obviously these are beautifully produced as one would expect from this super luxurious brand.  The other thing to note is the slight angle of the props too which seems to increase the sense of depth in the window spaces.

Etro, London

Great use of colour.  We're not entirely sure if we like the giant Apples here but what a wonderful use of colour in a scheme.  We particularly love how the Blue's  absolutely pop out against the Orange tones (well they are complimentary colours so naturally they will).  There is also an interesting use of pattern on the flooring too although overall the scheme is difficult to track back through to the brands website which is a shame as we would like to understand the connection here.

Loewe, London

We haven't quite decided how we feel about this scheme at the moment. The giant Anthurium are impressively realistic and we can see from the brands website that this is a product-led scheme (even though the actual product with the Anthurium print is not currently in their windows) however we the giant stems make the scheme jar a little for us.  Realistic plants (albeit land-of-the-giants style) are not easy to pull-off and these really are impressive otherwise.

Rimowa, London

We're not entirely sure how we describe this scheme although we have to say that we really do love it.  There's a kind of icy topography vibe to the scheme where everything has been cut out to perfection.  We also love how the colours change to give a sense of depth to the props.  Very beautifully produced.

VM & Display Awards, 2023

If you missed the VM & Display awards last night, then you really did miss a corker of an evening.  This year was hosted by the brilliantly funny Kerry Godliman (we're huge fans) with winning Visual Merchandising from some of the greats on the high street including some our favourites such as Harvey Nichols,  Fortnum and Mason and Selfridges.  Congratulations to all of the winners 2023...!

Dior, London

You really have to see this scheme in person to truly appreciate it.  It is also quite unusual for schemes to come out of the window spaces too, at least here in the UK unless there is some sort of security watching over it. The props here are just exquisitely produced with what looks like straw and woven so beautifully and so detailed.  This whole scheme produced worldwide kept an awful lot of people very busy for quite some time.  Just stunning.

Fendi, London

Whoever thought it was a good idea to put pillars in front of the window must be truly mad.  Besides its obvious use of holding up the building, does anyone know why this was done?  In the meantime, this brand have been knocking out the schemes faster than Dolce & Gabbana used to do and clearly on a roll.  At first glance we thought these were ribbons stretched across the windows however it turns out that they are in fact metal bars in these candy colours.

We've seen some great schemes from this brand over the years and this one is no exception.  The beauty of this store is that you can see how the scheme itself flows through from the window to the interior of the space.  The current installation in this stunning shade of Red can also be viewed as the Golden thread through their collection and web page - not a huge amount but it is clearly there.

This brand are always such a treat to visit.  We always find ourselves drooling over their windows.  We're also always dying to know the Golden thread of the theme that runs through their schemes each year as the visual merchandising always make so much more sense although like so many brands out there with the exception of Isabel Marant and Selfridges (but not many others?) this brand never include their latest schemes on their website.  Such a shame not to record such wonderful Artwork.
