This is a very smart scheme although perhaps a little dull for this time of year, don't you think?  Gorgeous product of course and we don't mind a bit of Greenery and some topiary although we find ourselves wanting to look at some additional which will add interest.  We have seen some superb quality schemes from this brand although while to quality is of course here the subject is sending us to sleep.

Hogan, London

What a great scheme at this brand right now.  We've spotted some real gems at the store in Knightsbridge and we are constantly amazed, not just at the quality of the installations but the ideas behind them too.  This one is no exception.  What you can never see in a still image is how this glows out of the window space and also the illusion that the 'sand' in the timers is actually moving.  Another winning scheme from Hogan.

Burberry, London

Have you seen this installation?  How amazing is this.  This brands' store along Knightsbridge (obviously one of the most expensive parts of the city) has to be one of our favourites right now.  Their Regents street site is very nice and while their Bond street store is under renovation this has to be up there with best of the best.  There is a slight whiff of Selfridges Yellow here although we can overlook this as the installation is so wonderfully exciting.  Can we have a Bambi from your last scheme now?

Harvey Nichols, London

If you want to see what amazing retail theatre looks like then just check out this brand.  We've been following them for decades as they always deliver such wonderful schemes.  This is the first time however that we can recall the use of digital technology.  Sadly, images just don't pick that element up very well so you will need to go and have experience this scheme yourself.  We have put the full run of windows on our instagram however - link below.

Etro, London

We're seem to be picking up on a mid 70's vibe here.  There appears to be a collision between Margot Leadbetter and Abigails Party, don't you think?  Anyone for a bit of Demis Roussos? (only those of a certain age will understand those references).  In the meantime, we're not quite sure what the giant tassel is doing in this scheme although it's clearly a significant focal point however there is a lot of Paisley in the product so obviously part of their SS22 collection. As with most brands the marketing information says everything and yet nothing at the same time so we're not making connections between what we read and what we see at the moment.

Patek Philippe, London

This brand always produces such interesting schemes in their windows.  We've just realised that, from these images you might be imagining that these installations are huge (sort of human scale) however as we have taken the images a night time all of the incredibly and super expensive product has been removed (this would have provided a sense of scale) and these windows are actually about double the size  of the windows at somewhere like Tiffany.  We have no idea what the references are here although we imagine it's a nod to the inside workings of a watch.  Beautifully produced as always.

Massimo Dutti, London

This brand really have got 'it', haven't they.  Such simple and elegant presentation which oozes cool.  One particular element that we love and its not really a big deal but does demonstrate a good skill level is that they wire their mannequins rather than using the dreadful glass base plates.  Of course, base plates are needed if you have a hard floor but wiring these figures as these guys have may not be noticed by many but we do appreciate it.

Valextra, London

This is a very beautifully crafted scheme at this brands' store along Mount street right now.  We have posted them on Instagram too if you wanted to take a closer look as it really have been produced very well (link below).  We're getting a kind of historical American coal mining vibe from this scheme complete with towers, train track and carts although to be honest mining historically looks pretty much the same the world over.  However, this worth going to have a look at if you can just to see the detail they have gone into.

Shoes are not the easiest product to show well and having such a large space to work with hasn't really helped this installation.  Images can be a bit deceiving of course and to be honest in reality you can actually see the product in the scheme although they do appear lost in the images.  As we would expect for this time of year, a narrative with a nod to the holiday season.

Malone Souliers, London

We cant quite work out if we've seen this store before or is it a new one?  We walk along Mount street on occasion to have a look at the range of boutiques as they do tend to implement some interesting schemes although we cant recall seeing this one before.  We have however seen a whole range of nods to Swimming pools over the years - it is becoming a bit of a cliche for Summer - although this one is quite interesting if only for its simplicity and how it has been stripped right down to the bare bones.  We're not sure about those flower pots though?

We often go and have a look at this brand as while they only have this one window, they really do take the visual aspect of their windows very seriously and invest the time and money in making what they do so incredibly memorable - we do appreciate this, whoever produces the windows here.  Collaborations of course also invigorate the high streets and this scheme, produced in conjunction with the Artist Melania Toma is a corker.  Do check her other work out too.

After spending years and years with terrible window schemes and horrible mannequins, this brand is rocking again.  OK, well, we know the product was superb, obviously, but the window schemes always looked so incredibly unloved which is so odd for such a luxurious brand.  Whoever is looking after this brands' retail store windows is doing a brilliant job although we can of course only mention the London, Bond Street store.
