There are not a lot of Jubilee schemes out there at the moment although we expect a few more will crop up in the next few weeks for us to share.  If you are reading this internationally then you might be wondering what this is all about?  We're guessing that just about everyone has heard of the Queen of England (although she is actually Queen of all of the countries of Great Britain), well Her Maj. has now been Queen for a whopping 70 years and therefore this is why we will be celebrating the occasion across the country.  We will show you more schemes as we find them so expect the Union flag to be included in just about all of them.

If this scheme doesn't put you in the mood for a Summer holiday to somewhere exotic then nothing will. Beautiful colours have been used here with giant cut out under water plants.  What you cant view are the movements of the jelly fish, however we have made a short video which you can view on our instagram page.  Link below.

Zara, London

We've often seen the use of columns in retail store windows over the years to this scheme is not really that exciting for us (this is not to say that it is terrible in any way, just not exciting).  If you scroll back to January 2019 or even May 2021 you can see brands such as Max Mara including these types of structures in their scheme and better still, have a look at Versace from October 2019 - bingo.

Diesel, London

We managed to capture the first window here at this brand although the reason the second window below is at a slight angle is because there is scaffolding in place.  Anyway, we've been thinking about this scheme quite a bit and cant quite help wondering if someone happened to be digging around either in a basement or loft and came across pipes wrapped in lagging (material for pipe insulation), and tah daah....here we have the latest scheme.  It doesn't really matter where the idea came from but it does demonstrate that you can find inspiration absolutely anywhere.

Prada, London

We've been looking at the wonderful luxury brand stores along Sloane street here in the centre of it all.  Actually, if you are not familiar with this area, it is only a small parade of stores although of course they are all luxury brands.  You wont find any mid-range or value retailers here.  This brand looks fabulous at the moment.  They can be a little hit and miss with their visual merchandising but this installation looks amazing (although some very skinny mannequins).

We seem to recall that we've seen this type of skate scheme previously, possibly 10 years ago at Galeries Lafayette?  Anyway, obviously this has the Dior touch and naturally a super quality installation.  We are having a problem trying to work out the wording on the stamp in the backdrop, perhaps someone would let us know what it all means?

Wow, how gorgeous is this scheme..!  Even if you are reading this internationally hopefully you are familiar with this fabulous store in the best part of town.  It really is incredible how they ever manage to complete their huge run of windows which wrap around this enormous site, but they do, always.  Currently there is obviously a beauty promotion in place and what an incredible way to show the product.  Huge crystals formations fill the front windows of this iconic store right now.

Tods, London

This brand produce wonderful schemes within their windows spaces and you may remember the incredible installation at one of the Milan stores which we included recently.  With on obvious nod to the holiday season,  which also has a whiff of the Jardin Majorelle, the scheme is filled with beautiful pots, cacti props and arch forms.

Zegna, London

We love these organic forms (a bit like giant pebbles really) here at this brand right now.  We've noticed that recently they have tended to produce these types of schemes which are not necessarily sustainable but are in tune visually with nature (sort of).  There's obviously a directive to appeal to a younger audience we suspect, especially in conjunction with the current graphics.

If you follow this site on a regular basis you will be familiar with some of the wonderful schemes at this brand along Bond Street here in Central London.  The team here do have quite the challenge with schemes as the windows are not very wide although they are tall and they have a curved area on one corner too.  Still, the brand always deliver and here's another nod to the beginning of the holiday season.

This is such a departure and change of visual direction for this brand, don't you think?  Normally we see a few props and of course the obligatory mannequin but here we have a very colourful scheme with cartoon graphics.  Obviously the promotion is their new range of products in collaboration with Andre Saraiva.  If you want to know more please do check out their website.

With sustainability at the core of this brand and a very worthy and extremely important aspect of the way we should all be living too (or at least trying), the current scheme, we imagine is to the nod to the development of new products from sustainable sources, and in this case the development of leather from mushrooms (or mycelium as its known).  There are numerous examples of this product being used and in particular in the U.S. where some amazing products have been produced using this material - with a big price tag however.

Gant, London

We've seen a few collaborations around town recently, particularly with Artists, at brands such as Roksanda and Pringle.  Working across a range of disciplines really helps to invigorate a brands offer as well as of course provide a usually much needed showcase for the work of the Artist (although this Artists has an incredibly successful portfolio already).  Here at Gant, the team have just installed their latest scheme in conjunction with the very talented Kelly Anna.  We were fortunate to attend the presentation talk in conversation with the Artists last week and what a great person she is too.
