This brand recently launched their new window concept at their store along Bond street which of course is beautifully produced. We always feel however that these kinds of tiles used in windows are a bit reminiscent of public toilets ourselves but of course in this context and the context of the times we are all currently facing this clinical vibe simply highlights the beauty of their products.

It has been such a pleasure to have been able to view all of the new window schemes over the past two weeks even in these troubled times. We do have that awful feeling that we may be forced back into another lockdown here in London shortly although we will try to keep going as much as possible to bring you the latest in the schemes which are out there. There is a lot of digital technology being implemented at the moment across a lot of brands out there. Given the current circumstances however this shouldn't really be a surprise although we really do hope that this is not necessarily going to be the main option for brands moving forward. Visual Merchandising skills and knowledge have been developed for over a century (well at least in its current recognisable form) and will sadly be lost if large format screens (as with printed graphics) become the norm. Brands such as this really do invest in the visual and theatre of their windows and let's not just hope but continue to work towards this returning again shortly.

As always this brands' windows look so beautiful with the application of shades Blue with some great props and of course some wonderful draping. Gone for now are the references to glamorous interiors (the likes of which most of us will never experience, although thats aspiration for you) and in its place some gorgeous fluted planters (no doubt purchased from one of the markets around London) and probably reclaimed ladders, all painted in White. Great from a sustainability perspective too.

We are not entirely sure what this window is about at this wonderful brand along Bond street beyond describing it as a sofa at an angle placed on top of images of handbags which have been illuminated from behind. Maybe we are looking for some hidden meaning? Maybe is means nothing at all and we should just appreciate the spectacle of it all.

This is yet another very elegant installation from this brand and their store along Bond street. Classical columns with a twist, quite literally, create the context for their latest scheme. As always the mannequins are beautifully presented although they have had these in for some time now and perhaps its time for a change?

We're seeing a lot of digital technology in retail store windows right now across the high street rather than a lot of propping which we guess is a result of the current pandemic. It will be quite interesting to see if this continues although we do hope that the visual merchandisers skills won't be lost as a result.
