If you like everything digital to look after your home then this is one for you.  Alexa, switch on the fire, and hey presto the fire comes on.  If when you return home you just cannot be bothered to open the front door, that's right, Alexa open the front door and lo and behold the front door opens.  We are not sure we would want to live in such a digital space ourselves, or, to be honest one controlled by Amazon but we know there will be people out there who love this stuff and it is rather clever. Alexa, it's time to take those Christmas decorations down.  Ok, well not that clever.

We have walked past this store along 5th Avenue on many occasions although we never seem to be tempted to go inside and take a closer look.  Its probably as sportswear is not something which particularly interests us although the windows themselves look quite incredible with these amazing Blue spheres in a repetition format and varying in size.  Some of the spheres have also been adapted to highlight some of their fantastic products too.

Acne Studios, New York

We've always felt that this was rather an unflattering name for a brand, don't you think?  Although however of course they are super cool and have delicious products so we guess no one else cares.  These windows were tricky to capture as they are quite high up and naturally the product is so far away from the passerby that you and only ever look up to it.  All deliberate we're sure.

We included this brands store in Brooklyn last year (well actually the before that probably now) although we had never actual seen this one in Manhattan previously.  Apparently a feminist start-up the brand sell products screaming Fuck yes you glorious bitch and Satan is a woman plus all the other gifts you never knew you needed.

This is our final entry for 2019 as we begin preparations for the new decade.  Where did that time go, eh?  Here we have the Moschino store, not an easy one to capture as the large format letters extend around the corner of the store although this is one of the nicer stores for this brand.  In the meantime, we will of course continue to bring you some of the latest images from the Visual Merchandising from around the world and who knows what this new decade will present us with.

We cant recall seeing this store previously here in New York and actually nearly missed it as the entrance and window space a very small by this cities standards.  However here we have it complete with giant ball suspended in the lobby area.

We seem to remember that Fendi had this store space last year so we're guessing that this is a pop-up space for the holidays.  And just look at the facia of this store.  We don't quite know how they've done it although we had to wait for quite some time while numerous passersby took the obligatory Insta-selfies.

Mack Weldon, New York

We're perusing the delights of Hudson Yards here in New York as this is a whole new development which makes a nice change from the usual 5th Avenue, Broadway and SoHo areas to hang out and enjoy the retail here.  This is a new brand for us also so as always we do become excited with new finds.  We were however more drawn in by this installation in the centre of the store.  A giant Airfix-style structure as the main focal point within the space.

Ippolita, New York

This was a brand new and exciting find for us as we cant recall ever seeing this brand previously.  Ippolita is a jewellery brand from the obviously talented Ippolita Rostagno who sources her materials around the world and sells through the likes of Bloomingdales, Bergdorf Goodman and even Harrods back in London.  However, what actually struck us were these incredible heads in the window of her store here covered in what appears to be string which has been used to create these amazing designs.

The High line, New York
