Anthropologie have always been one of our favourites for installations although they appear to have become a little abstract and perhaps rather tame with their windows recently and gone are the huge doses of creativity and wonderful narratives from recycled stuff and currently these sort of kite structures fill their windows right now.

We're not huge fans of these generic multiples ourselves although they have made an effort with their Visual Merchandising so it is worth noting what they have done.  Currently rocking their "Desert Dreams" scheme complete with Cacti and interestingly enough we have spotted the same trend across one or two of the luxury brands which we will show you shortly.

Giuseppe Zanotti, London

We cant recall ever including this brand previously although we did happen upon their store in Mayfair recently and were rather captured by this installation.  We don't know much about the brand itself however it is great to see that they have produced quite an interesting scheme complete with their footwear on what appears to be pieces of marble (its actually polystyrene but very convincingly done nonetheless).

This brand still have their digital media in their front windows which is a tragic shame as they always produced the most amazing narratives, therefore we have to show you their side windows which thankfully have an essence of "old school" about them.

Wow, how dynamic is this scheme at Dsquared2 right now.  While we are not big on large format graphics ourselves, these images are very striking indeed.  Complete with bright Red and Yellow painted backdrops this brand is looking very cool indeed right now.

Props always seem to the main focus of this store along Bond street and as always they do produce quite original schemes.  With their out-sized clovers / shamrocks complete with ladybirds the scheme is at least quite interesting.  We're not really sure about the way they display their merchandise however which really isn't doing them any favours.

Daks, London

We often walk past this brands windows although we haven't recently captured their schemes.  It does seem that while they are no doubt still making the much needed cash they haven't really spent a lot of it on their windows.  This isn't to say that they don't produce anything of quality of course, just that they haven't always been particularly interesting to look at and share with you.  However, with reference, we guess to an historical space the brand is at least looking good right now.

Most likely a nod to the Summer season this brand have installed this incredible "garden" around their products at their store along Regent street here in the centre of it all.  Beautifully produced florals in a repetition format on very long stems have been created within which the product has been placed.  Beautifully produced as one would expect from this premium brand.

We've gone from hating what this brand do to loving their schemes.  Clearly they have someone looking after their windows who knows exactly what they are doing.  Currently with this very simple backdrop of what appears to be lightly painted panels (which still no doubt took forever to produce) in a repetition format creates the scene for their amazing products.

Woolworths, Cape Town

Who knew that Woolworths would look so cool?  While the brand moved out of London, probably around 10 years now, it seems that they thrive in this part of the world and are quite a mighty influence.  Gone are the massive array of penny sweets, cassettes, videos and just look at the product here.  We were slightly in a rush when we visited here so didn't have a time for a proper look around however this is clearly one brand still making an impact in this corner of Africa.

Our Local, Cape Town

There really are some delicious places to visit here in Cape Town and if you fancied a bit of a dining experience and wanted to buy some of the products then look no further than Our Local.  Situated on Kloof street, this former garage repair place certainly needs to be on your radar.  Great food and an amazingly visual experience wrapped up in one amazing building.  Beware of the uneven floor after a few South African wines however.

Zeitgeist Apparel, Cape Town

While there isn't much in this store which we would consider as Visual Merchandising we did happen upon the site while perusing the delights of Long street here in the centre of town.  We have included it as we have been slightly hard pressed to find any interesting fashion elements which we could include here and this store which also doubles as a bar space is quite beautifully produced and right up our alley on the aesthetics.

We do love a peruse around the luxury brand stores and while we included a version of this while back in London, these dreamcatchers feel particularly right for this part of the world.  Situated within the V&A shopping district and nestled between some of the other luxury brand players is of course Louis Vuitton.  As always, a remarkable installation from one of the worlds top brands.
