Wow, wow, and wow.  If you havent been to the Flipside in the Old Selfridges hotel then you really are missing a treat.  This experience is staggeringly good.   "Part Art exhibition and part performance space - The Flipside is the first destination of its kind.  As you journey through The Flipside, you will enter a series of extraordinary installations and experiences,  in the company of some of the world's most innovative brands."  We can honestly say that you won't be disappointed by this amazing immersive experience and we will show you this windows which introduce this installation tomorrow.

Sense of Space, London

We've been out of London for quite some time however we're back to show you some of the amazing things that are happening here with in retail store windows as well as some inspiring events.  Here in Broadgate (just behind Liverpool street station) is 'Sense of Space' - "an engaging multi-sensory pop up space comprising four different rooms to engage the senses and transport you from the hustle of the city."  This is well worth a visit however we would suggest not wearing a skirt to this event (Mirrored floor etc..!).

Granit, Berlin

We love to peruse a bit of homeware and happened to come across this brand while on our walkabouts around the city.  Granit is a brand we had never heard of previously and what amazing products they have too.  Do check out their website as these guys clearly 'get it' when it come to presentation and their website is to die for.  This is our final entry on Berlin as we now head back to London.

Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin

Berlin has proved to be an incredibly exciting city to visit so a quick peruse around the Hamburger Bahnhof was clearly on the agenda in search of further inspiration.  Built in 1847, this former main train station which houses the collection of the entrepreneur Dr. Erich Marx includes a vast collection of pieces from Beuys, Rauschenberg to Lichtenstein and Warhol (they have Warhol's giant Mao piece here which really is enormous).  For a morning of cleansing and culture this really is a place to visit.

Fiona Bennett, Berlin

This is a completely new brand to us (and we suspect the only store) however we happened to come across this one just by chance and as its not every day that we find a hat store we thought we would include it.  And what glamorous hats they are too.  We guess that you will just need to find a venue to wear these delicious pieces.

Bershka, Berlin

We've spotted a huge amount of foliage-style schemes every where we go (we'll show you some shortly from some of the many London retail store windows shortly).  We guess SS18 is in full swing then when the flora arrives and what a sumptuous scheme from this mid-range brand this installation is too.  We dont feel quite so sure about the product however.

A peruse around Bikini Berlin is always a must in this creative city and a pitstop at LNFA is essential for those looking for more exciting fashion items from brands you may never have heard of.  Oozing creativity from every retail pore this incredible store not only looks great but the staff are super friendly too and the products are amazing.  Do swing by if you can.

Starstyling is one of those places we love to peruse on any visit to Berlin.  Apparently, the "crux of Starstyling's world is to play with timeless classics, twisting them around, splashing colour on them and topping them with a dose of humour".  That just about sums up this incredible store and a must see on a visit to this vibrant city.

If you havent been to Bless then you havent lived.  Hidden behind this facade and up multiple floors to this incredible apartment is one of the coolest places on the planet.  From the artistically wearable to the downright bizarre this place is a haven from the hustle and bustle of the streets below and clearly only meant for the ones in the know.   If you happen to be in Berlin do make an appointment to experience the still life drama of this space.

Topshop, Miami

This brand are certainly expanding across the world and of course always look so cool.  In celebration of the recent Gay Pride, a multi coloured confetti-style backdrop was installed in conjunction with the strapline "Happy Pride".  We're now leaving Miami for the coolness of Berlin in search of the latest installations from one of the most exciting and innovative cities of Europe.  Watch this space...!

Mont Blanc, Miami

Mont Blanc are not the first on our list for Visual Merchandising although this store at Aventura here in Miami did make us stop and take a closer look.  This type of product is so incredibly difficult to show well (given its size in relation to the window space) however with their tiny cut out landscape narrative complete with biplane is a corker.
