Moschino, London

Ironically while this product has apparently been dropped by Nordstrom (if social media is to be believed) this scheme and product is actually the best we have seen from this brand in a long time.  With its great quality props and references to pill popping of at least some kind, we do like a brand that ruffles the high street somewhere even if no one this side of the pond seems to have noticed  much.

Longchamp, London

We included the latest scheme at Longchamp last week and had mentioned that the 'ironwork' look a little like a caged animal had escaped.  Subsequently the scheme has changed a little and although along the same lines it is rather more formal than the previous one.  Whatever the reason for the quick change for this look-ee-likey installation we preferred the previous one ourselves even if we did poke at it a little.

Uniqlo, London

Its beginning to feel rather wintery here in London at the moment so this scheme at Uniqlo is absolutely tapping into the current climate rather perfectly.  This brand of course is great for its basics  or if you like to dress like a tourist (they do seem to wear a lot of this kind of stuff so nothing personal we promise - just an observation - although of course this product is 'sans' real fur trim - thankfully).  Faux icicles 'drip' down the fenestration completing the look.

Dior, Selfridges, London

Working in conjunction with the team at Dior, the fantastic team at www.elemental.co.uk have supported the launch of their new fragrance collection 'La Collection Privee - La Colle Noire' at the fabulous department store Selfridges here in the centre of it all.  Elemental's brief was to create something with a 'magical but elegant' twist working closely with the brand to develop their initial designs.  The final outcome here is a highly stylised fragrance bar with a combination of mirror, bright steel finishes, high gloss Black while interweaving elements of 'Les Rhumbs' chateau which sits at the heart of Dior's latest campaign culminating in yet another winning design from this incredible design agency and phenomenal brand.

Liberty, London

If you like to indulge yourself with beautiful products then this is a scheme for you.  Le Labo, Diptyque, Aesop and many more are the focus of the latest installation at Liberty right now.  Beautifully executed windows oozing a sense of well being and given that mental health and well being issues seem to be on the lips of everyone across social media right now these guys as usual have tapped into the vibe perfectly.  We've made a short video of the scheme which you can view below or through our YouTube channel.

Private White V.C., London

We don't often walk along Duke street as there aren't many inspirational stores to view and oddly while the rents here must be astronomical there are very few retailers really 'working the floor' with their installations.  However, there are a few little gems along this street worth mentioning and in particular Private White V.C.  We are not wholly familiar with this store/brand but their latest scheme really is an accurate summation of the season right now.  Great to see mannequins with articulated arms in such dynamic poses and thankfully this store made our exploratory visit so worthwhile.

House of Fraser, London

As Winter draws in (and Autumn here in London feels like it is in full swing),  House of Fraser commissioned www.millingtonassociates.com to work on a suitably seasonal scheme which has rolled out across their stores.  Cosy felt textures with contrasting cold concrete have been combined with large scale printed panels depicting materials associated with the season; leather, Marble, linen and knitted wool all beautifully orchestrated in these monolithic stores.

Godiva, London

We don't often include food in windows although we do pass this store along Regent street and for a mid-range brand this one really is looking very interesting.  Below is an example of very exquisite packaging given that their target audience is probably, well just about anyone we would imagine, however these guys are clearly upping the ante in Chocolate presentation.

Lanvin, London

This monochromatic scheme at Lanvin is possibly not the best one that we have seen at this brand with more fixture than narrative although of course the product remains 'king' here naturally.  With their Palmistry references in vinyl placed on the fenestration and textured plinths we are still slightly mystified what it all means.  Maybe we need to dig a little deeper?

Dolce and Gabbana, London

We are beginning to see slight references to the Christmas season already (we think) with the launch of their latest installation Dolce and Gabbana have included links to the Cinderella story with their 'wire carriage' stacked tomes and golden picture frames with suspended fruit.  We dont know what the fruit references are but then we have seen stranger things we guess.

Belstaff, London

Continuing with the 'mesh/net' theme which we uploaded yesterday at Longchamp, Belstaff have created a kind of structured landscape which is reflected in the backdrop image.  We don't know whether this structure has been 3D printed although great to know if it has been and provides a very light foreground to this installation.

Longchamp, London

We haven't included this brand for a while but compelled to stop as we have noticed a lot of meshes/net structures in store windows across a variety of brands, from Belstaff and (sort of) at Pull and Bear too.  In a kind of autumnal 'rusty' finish this abstract structure here forms the backdrop to the product at this tiny Longchamp store along Bond street.  What always springs to our minds when we see these kinds of structures is that they always give the impression that a caged animal has escaped, but thats just us.

Fenwick, London

Celebrating an incredible 125 years (where did that time go, eh?) Fenwick as usual is looking really good and if you haven't been inside of this store recently then do make another visit as it really is looking as any one of us would expect a fantastic department store to look.  A large cut out illustration of the store forms the central focal point of the windows here, surrounded by photographs (we imagine) of the original store and their original catalogues from periods gone by (what a great archive they must have).  What is so amazing is to see a brand last so long; no easy task.
