Moschino, Dubai

Rather ironically (as we usually growl at what they do) this brand appears to be the most creative in the Dubai Mall right now.  Known for their kitsch installations and out sized props this brand is a shinning beacon here in Dubai.  Why are so few brands doing anything interesting here?

Loewe, Dubai

We don't know how to interpret this scheme at Loewe and other than describing it to you there isn't much to say.  It appears that the brand have used large concrete forms which have been wrapped in plastic.  Its slightly odd and does appear to be unfinished although who knows?

Harvey Nichols, Dubai

We're in Dubai for the next few days (yes we get around a bit) and we begin with the incredible Harvey Nichols at the Dubai Mall.  With their Obsessed in Style strap line, monochromatic scheme and rocking the 'Sia' look, this brand proves once again how innovative they truly are.

New Look, London

New Look clearly have their finger on the pulse with the SS16 iridescent trend, filling the height and depth of their windows with a clean framework of shimmering panels and the bouncing of light and colour that comes with this incredible material.  The windows here really come alive as you pass by this installation with an amazing change in colour. A clever way of keeping the windows flexible to the changing product being presented here.

Selfridges as always is leading the way in innovation on the high street.  With their latest campaign 'Everybody' the brand is celebrating the wellness movement which explores how we depict, treat and talk about our bodies and demonstrates through their window and interior installations the joy, strength and beauty of individuals united in motion.  Another stunning and avant garde scheme utilising the amazing mannequins from www.cofrad.com

Ralph Lauren, London

Given the season its no surprise that we are seeing more and more references to travel across the schemes in London right now and here at Ralph Lauren, luxury cruising / sailing is the overall theme.  Again, we have historical references such as the Art Deco lighting and we're guessing that their stock 'Yasmins' are undergoing renovation at the moment but refreshing to see a different selection of mannequins being used nonetheless.

Tory Burch, London

The use of floral schemes appear to be the preferred style at Tory Burch recently (remember the Paris installation?)  We're not fans of flowers in windows ourselves per se although in this pure Blue and White scheme the installation does look incredibly clean, fresh and of course a perfect reference for SS16.

Patek Phillippe, London

We're sure this scheme looks even more mightily impressive when the product is in place although from across the other side of Bond street, the use of Green and Purple here does look rather magnificent; something an image can never really capture.  With what appears to be references to historical formal gardens (the type of thing which Capability Brown would have produced) Patek Phillippe have really upped the ante with their schemes recently and clearly understand the importance of not just interesting but superb quality Visual Merchandising.

Desigual, London

This is quite a difficult scheme to describe to you as there is not quite enough happening beyond what you can already see.  There are however small references (actually they are historical techniques) to the craft of decoupage which we had thought was relegated to the museums and well, history, so its great to see these things creeping in again, and in this case on the mannequins faces.

Liberty, London

We're guessing that the coils used here are tongue in cheek references to Spring although we are not absolutely sure (we probably made that up for some reason).  Threaded throughout this scheme are neon 'ropes' across the length of the run of windows and although we weren't so sure about the 'skirted' suspended forms we are sure that there is some method in their madness and perhaps we just don't 'get it'.  Beautiful products here as always anyway.
