What a lovely scheme this is, isn't it.  We're guessing this is a bit of a nod to the brands heritage and / or specialism in footwear and accessories (given that apparently it generates 86% of their revenue).  Shoe lasts (the wooden bit used by cobblers and cordwainers) always look incredibly cool and in this case the brand had applied them in a radiating and repetition format.

Cox London, London

We're always on the look out for new places to include here and we came across this store which we suspect is an independent although in the very posh part of town.  We also couldn't work out whether the windows actually contain the product or if this was a very interesting installation.  The wonderful thing which captured us however are the shadows that it casts across the space at night time.

Tommy Hilfiger, London

This is rather a maximalist installation, don't you think?  We had initially thought that this might be a collaboration between Hilfiger and the Finish brand Marimekko although it transpires that it is in fact with Richard Quinn (London based print designer).  Anyway, do check out the Hilfiger website for this collection; It looks amazing and that they've all gone mad - but in a good way.

You may remember that this brand had a store along Mount street which is not far from this Regent street store although the footfall here is enormous by comparison.  They have previously produced some interesting schemes although there is the Lagerfeld store across the road and right now they almost reflect each other with their schemes.  We understand the global hardships but lets inject a bit of London in here, eh?

Nespresso, London

Surprisingly, this brand are changing their schemes faster than most Fashion brands at the moment.  Normally, we look to the luxury brands for the latest schemes as they tend to change them far more regularly than mid-range and obviously make bigger statements, however this brand are leaping ahead enormously and it appears that this might be our go to as the world crises continue to develop.

Penhaligon's London

We had a slightly Deja Vu moment with this scheme as we initially couldn't work out whether we had seen it before or whether it was simply the use of the hot air balloon props.  It transpires that this scheme, or at least a version of this was installed in their windows this time last year.  There's nothing wrong of course with recycling props again, in fact we've even spotted props cropping up in the windows of Bergdorf Goodman over many years.   Given the current financial state of the UK and possibly everywhere else around the world this is a good strategy, however it might have been a good idea to respray them or change them in some way?  Just a thought.

We still haven't quite worked out why all of the windows are Zara are completely different from each other?  Is this their new strategy? Or, perhaps anti-strategy?  We cant quite believe this brand is that radical.  While we ponder on this, here's their latest scheme at (we presume) is their flagship store here in the centre of it all.

This brand have just got it haven't they, and another beautiful scheme delivered.  This appears to be the launch of their new Polo collection (we don't think that they have started doing Saddles just in case you wondered and these no doubt are part of the overall narrative in order to set the scene).  As always, lovely presentation which appears so wonderfully effortless although takes a lot of skill to look this way.

We don't quite know that the narrative is here although one of the other windows along this short run has a frog in it too.   Surrounding the beautifully coloured rocks are also what appear to be laser cut flora.  Other than that, there isn't much else to note although if you are interested we have posted a whole range on images on our instagram account from their recent exhibition about the brand which happened here in London.

As the Summer season draws to a close we're just picking up on the last few schemes before we launch into possibly one more scheme (maybe two) before the Christmas windows are installed.  Its bonkers really isn't it.  In the meantime this brand continues to deliver with their current Summer scheme with two dimensional flora which form part of the backdrop and cut vinyl on the fenestration.  Great colour backdrop too.

What do you do when you have huge window spaces but tiny product?  Use a giant magnifying glass of course.  If you are reading this somewhere else in the world and have never been to London before, this is one of the most luxurious places in world.  Every super luxury brand is here and naturally in this scheme, probably all of the worlds jewellery brands are represented.  Beautiful presentation as always and delivered by a really nice bunch of people behind the scenes.  It was quite busy when we captured these windows but you can find more on our instagram through the link below.

We happened upon this window installation recently while wandering around the Belgravia part of town.  The scheme here is very simple however we loved the Ice Cream cone props made with the product suspended in a gravitational and repetition format.  The brand essentially sell rugs, although very posh ones but great to see an independent making an effort with their windows.
