If you follow this site on a regular basis you will be familiar with some of the wonderful schemes at this brand along Bond Street here in Central London.  The team here do have quite the challenge with schemes as the windows are not very wide although they are tall and they have a curved area on one corner too.  Still, the brand always deliver and here's another nod to the beginning of the holiday season.

Longchamp, London

This is such a departure and change of visual direction for this brand, don't you think?  Normally we see a few props and of course the obligatory mannequin but here we have a very colourful scheme with cartoon graphics.  Obviously the promotion is their new range of products in collaboration with Andre Saraiva.  If you want to know more please do check out their website.

Stella McCartney, London

With sustainability at the core of this brand and a very worthy and extremely important aspect of the way we should all be living too (or at least trying), the current scheme, we imagine is to the nod to the development of new products from sustainable sources, and in this case the development of leather from mushrooms (or mycelium as its known).  There are numerous examples of this product being used and in particular in the U.S. where some amazing products have been produced using this material - with a big price tag however.

Gant, London

We've seen a few collaborations around town recently, particularly with Artists, at brands such as Roksanda and Pringle.  Working across a range of disciplines really helps to invigorate a brands offer as well as of course provide a usually much needed showcase for the work of the Artist (although this Artists has an incredibly successful portfolio already).  Here at Gant, the team have just installed their latest scheme in conjunction with the very talented Kelly Anna.  We were fortunate to attend the presentation talk in conversation with the Artists last week and what a great person she is too.

Rimowa, London

This is a very interesting collaboration with Porsche right now and we do highly recommend that you check out the Rimowa website as there are a number of videos which work with this latest promotion (which obviously has merchandise attached to it but is great anyway).  We were rather distracted by the Aluminium sling collection however.  We had no idea this brand produced so many amazing products.

Versace, Milan

We were looking at this scheme back in London recently and it actually looked really great.  This version we are not so sure of.  We love the iridescent backdrop (although perhaps it could have been rather more substantial) however the mannequins are not very dynamic and actually rather ordinary which creates a very static installation.  The design was no doubt produced using photoshop and clearly implemented with no love whatsoever.

Giada, Milan

This is another brand which we have never come across before, although from the cursory glance across the internet, they only have two stores anyway and the second one is actually in Boston, USA (rather odd choice?).  The interior here looks so incredibly interesting and the very little information we can find out about this brand is that the store was designed by Claudio Silvestrin - the master of contemporary minimalism.

Stone Island, Milan

We've never really thought of this brand as being one which has products at the luxury end of the scale but they certainly are expensive ones for sure.  We happened upon this store here in Milan, although cant actually recall seeing any others anywhere else although having undertaken a quick search they do have a store along Brewer street back in London which we clearly were not aware of.  We will swing by at some point to see if they have anything visual in their windows there very soon.

Armani Exchange, Milan

We cant recall ever seeing such a big store for this brand or rather sub-brand from the mother ship otherwise known as Armani but then it is Milan after all.  We also cant think of a scheme which has used Nuts and Bolts in their windows although we feel that they should have been used previously?  (Maybe you can recall a scheme somewhere?).  Anyway, the windows have been very heavily illuminated and supported with some decorative lighting as the backdrop and forming the A and X of the brand.  The merchandise is quite generic although completely inoffensive of course.

Loro Piana, Milan

We've included some real corkers from this brand over the years, particularly from their London store which has had some very creative and interesting schemes.  It may just be timing although we feel that perhaps London has the better deal as the Milan windows seem rather tame by comparison and almost and very slightly we're picking up a bit of a Ralph Lauren vibe from this installation.

We are always so excited to see this brands' stores on our travels as they never disappoint.  We are also completely in awe of how they manage to achieve a different feel or narrative (much like Anthropologie) across so many stores globally.  No easy task for sure.  Just check out this little beauty situated along the Montenepoleone area of this magnificent city.

United Colors of Benetton, Milan

This brand is a blast from the past.  Do they even exist back in the UK anymore?  During its heyday this brand absolutely rocked the high street with its provocative-style campaigns although it appears to have dwindled, probably for most of this century into a virtually non existent brand.  This is a shame of course.  We did actually have to scan around to research what has even happened to this brand and just everyone says the same thing.  It's dated.  Great windows here though.

Naracamicie, Milan

We know nothing about this brand whatsoever and this is the first time we've come across it.  We did have a quick glance around their website and it appears to be a German brand although there is no information about who they are.  Nevertheless, this brand clearly value visual merchandising and while we have seen lollipops used on many occasions this has actually been very well produced and we are rather intrigued by the flying Elephant.
