This is such a moving window to view and if you have the opportunity you should go and see it, even just have a glance. In collaboration with the brand, the Artist Coco Capitan has created these limited edition T-shirts with 100% of the proceeds going to Kaleidoscope, the LGBT+ trust based here in London. Do have a look at the Kaleidoscope webpage as this really is a worthy cause which you can find here: https://www.kaleidoscopetrust.com/index.php .
It is really interesting to see that so many brands are coming out (well not literally obviously - now that would be an unexpected turn of events) and celebrating this remarkable time of year in support of the LGBT+ community. We don't want to kill this long awaited (torturously long to be honest) development of course, however having lived through the 70's, 80's, 90's etc. ourselves we cant help thinking, Where we you then? Well, we know where you were. You were here but said nothing and did nothing (and yet so many of the LGBT+ community have worked for you). This brand didn't exist until 2007 so we can forgive them to a point, however now that it is slightly more cool to support groups who have been and still are on the fringes of society every brand appears to be jumping on Pride as a commercial opportunity (not all of course and this scheme really is for a worthy cause). We cant help but wonder if the same highlighting of LGBT+ support went into all stores across the country, ya' know in the rougher bits where support is probably needed more rather than in the safe spaces of the big city? We're doubtful unless you tell us otherwise. In the meantime, we will welcome you even if you weren't there when we actually needed you to raise awareness and support us but we won't forget either.

Anthropologie, London
We did try and capture this scheme in all its glory a few weeks ago however just as we approached the windows the lights were turned off. We guess they saw us coming. Anyway, sadly of course, right now London is filled with dreaded Sale signs so have found ourselves trying to squeeze anything visual out of the high street this week in order to show you some schemes. Here at this brand (besides the obligatory Sale signage which we are trying to avoid) is this rather beautiful floral scheme.

Ermenegildo Zegna, London
As always this brand continues to deliver great schemes and naturally promote their amazing cause to save the forest. The forest in question is a 100 square kilometre area in a place called Piedmont in the Alps. Our only thought here however is that if you are trying to save a forest it might be a good idea not to actually chop bits off and put them in your windows across the world. It is of course probably not the case that they did this although hopefully you can see how these things can be interpreted.

Pull and Bear, London
We've been looking at this for a few weeks now and we're still a little, well, quite uncertain what this is actually all about? There is a small decal on the window which reads something along the lines of "A time travel, caring for fashion, our essence, and the spirit of the people we love" (we think it says this although it is quite high up in the window). And then, there is this installation piece next to the bust forms. Hmmmm. Are they trying to adopt a Fine Art approach and got it all wrong? Maybe. We will have to let you decide what you think on this one.

Fortnum and Mason, London
We do love a great F&M scheme and with the lovely weather we're experiencing here in London right now this just makes us want to go out and have a fantastic picnic with some of their products. If you are new to London or plan to visit then you must go an experience this wonderful place. These are their side windows incidentally as their main front windows were under going a change but we will bring those to you shortly.

Moose Knuckle, London
Well, this brand is a new one for us. While we are seeing a lot of empty shop units across town at the moment, and of course the Gap have decided to pull out of the UK and Europe and go entirely online which will leave even larger spaces to fill, the good news is that new brands are moving in and refreshing the high street. We have never come across this brand before, and it transpires the name of course refers to, well, the opposite of a female camel toe, i.e. male genitalia. Classy stuff this (we will just sit back and wait for the backlash this name will eventually summon). Beyond the dreadful name this Canadian brand has a great store although we're not entirely sure how many quilted jackets we need here in the UK, ya' know, global warming an' all that although they do do hoodies too.

We cant quite remember what this scheme reminds us of. Possibly some of the trend information from places such as W.G.S.N. potentially. Anyway, another very interesting selection of materials, colours, shapes and forms from this brand and very much a Fine Art approach to their installations without a large format graphic in sight. Phew.

Tommy Hilfiger, London
Its been a very long time since we looked at the windows here although to be honest they haven't done very much or at least nothing we really wanted to share with you anyway. So here they are. Encouraging us to find our happy place this Summer is Tommy Hilfiger. Thankfully we have already found ours, well, actually we found it a long time ago but you get the idea anyway.

Brunello Cucinelli, London
This scheme is probably not very easy to view therefore we have as usual included our instagram and facebook links below if you want to take a closer look. Anyway, we're not entirely sure if we actually like this scheme ourselves although of course that doesn't actually matter. We do however love the tonal values connecting the fashion items with he background props although we are not quite sure about the lack of mannequins here.

Massimo Dutti, London
This brand always produce such carefully considered and thoughtful schemes although of course at the moment they just need to promote their product and shift this stuff. So, go on, help them out as they do produce some quality schemes and we don't want to kill it. We know some wonderful things are on there way and we do have to get out there and shop. Please just do it and don't just buy online.

Stella McCartney, London
This brand don't tend to spend a lot on their visual merchandising which is why we rarely include them. Simply, nothing to see here. We did find this installation however, several mannequins but with animal heads on them. Yes, we don't know what to make of it earlier. Might have been better to have included some mannequins in more dynamic poses with amazing hair and makeup but there you go.

Mulberry, London
Collaborations are such a great way of refreshing what brands out there do and in celebration of their 50th Anniversary this brand have joined with Ahluwalia as a part of their series of limited edition collaborations with some of the most visionary designers of their generation, as their window decal would indicate. We can certainly see a big shift in the designs of their window schemes and of course look forward to the next instalment which we will share here. Go Mulberry..!
