Debenhams, London

Debenhams have been looking so good throughout 2017 and of course their latest scheme is dazzling.  With their 'You Shall....' strapline and mountains of sparkling advent-coloured baubles, backdrops and props the team have pulled off yet another blinding scheme at their Oxford Street store - no easy task for such a monolithic brand for sure.  This scheme has to be seen in person though as the glow from the colour across Oxford street, particularly at night-time is incredible.

Clarks, London

It must be incredibly hard work to take a brand like Clarks, send it into the stratosphere and keep it there, but this is what the team have done yet again throughout 2017.  Their latest installation with the strapline 'Magic is in the Making' is another corker from this staggering brand.  Do go and check this out if you can as what we cant capture in a still image is the conveyor belt of products moving across the windows of this flagship store along Regent street.

Anthropologie, London

Anthropologie is a brand which shines all year round although their Christmas installations usually top our list.  Gorgeous products and beautifully made horns this brand never disappoints - we cant wait to see that they have done in their NYC stores too (we will share these with you shortly)

Bulgari, London

If you feel the need to see a sumptuous scheme then look no further than Bulgari along Bond street here in the centre of it all.  Delicious colours, Red, Blue, Orange trimmed with Gold combined with a bit of movement make these small show windows and the surrounding space look superb and of course absolutely seasonal.

Moncler, London

With their miniature snowmen in a repletion format Moncler as always looks superb but also of course seasonal.  While so many brands (with the exception of the value retailers) appear to be ignoring the usual Christmas-style installations at least this one is getting us in the mood for the pending festivities.  Well, actually, probably like most people in the VM industry we were over Christmas decorations last June although we guess everyone else can appreciate the spectacle.

Moschino, London

Another brand strangely not covered in Christmas lights and trees is Moschino right now.  With their giant glossy magazine front cover it is actually a pleasant surprise to find so many brands skipping the usual types of installations we have always seen.  Austerity or are we all just bored of seeing the same old stuff year after year?  Who knows?

Tory Burch, London

This is a relatively simple scheme from this brand and not quite enough to talk about other than it has a concertinaed Black and White patterned  backdrop and textured product.  This is not a particularly seasonal-looking scheme although to be honest thats absolutely fine and a welcomed relief from all of the bling around town right now.

Louis Vuitton, London

It seems that collaborations is one of the key strands running throughout 2017 and of course the latests installation here at LV in conjunction with the incredible American Artist Jeff Koons makes quite a statement.  Known for working with popular cultural subjects and his reproductions of banal objects - some of which are enormous - Koons is a fantastic choice for this seasonal scheme and naturally keeps this brand at the absolute cutting edge in the world of luxury.

Fendi, London

If you feel the need to view a delicious scheme then look no further.  Fendi never fails to disappoint and just look at this little gem.  The words Love, Hope and Fun are the focal points in this beautifully illuminated installation along Bond street right now.  Perfectly executed and no Christmas tree in sight....relief.

Burberry, London

We're guessing that this is the Christmas scheme at Burberry right now as why would anyone go to this much trouble for a temporary installation, right?  Artfully stacked chairs is the latest scheme at this monolithic brand and we are also guessing that this has gone global and great to see this brand do something other than the norm which so many brands seem to adopt out there.  Not a Christmas tree in sight, relief.

Patek Philippe, London

We've been following this brand all year and they become more and more visual with every scheme.  Bring it on.  We have also been trying to resist including Christmas schemes although it is an inevitable part of the Visual Merchandising calender of course so we will gradually show you some of the best of what is happening here in London over the next few weeks.  Here at Patek Philippe they have installed a fairytale narrative which of course works perfectly for this time of year and thankfully not a Christmas tree in sight.

Dior, Manchester

With their signature Grey colour and shiny metallic logo who could mistake Dior.  Of course not being a flagship this brands store doesn't get the 'full' Dior treatment that we showed you recently in London with their giant video screens but then thats how retail works.  Still, great to see other stores around the country in the final entry with images kindly shared by Jenny Crossland.

DKNY, Manchester

Sadly this brands store in London along Bond street closed recently and of course the former Donna Karan store also along Bond street closed quite a few years ago and was taken over by LV which now houses their huge Maison site.   This store appears to be the only one left in the UK although the brand do seem to be a big hit in Asia.  We were big fans of the brand for a while although they appear to be slipping gradually away however great to see them hanging on in other parts of the UK at least.
