Christian Louboutin, London

We included a smaller version of this scheme at the brands Rue St. Honore store in Paris recently, however just look at the bigger scheme.  This space age scheme taking over the Louboutin stores now across the globe launches their SS17 collection.  Featuring chrome UFO pods surrounded by jewel-tone cabochon lights, a galactic star-filled back drop and Louboutin's interpretation of a glamorous astronaut with their delicious product floating in zero gravity on the periphery.  There are just some schemes we wish we had thought of ourselves.   Grateful thanks to the team from www.studioxag.com for sharing these with us.

Joseph, London

Joseph does it again.  Taking inspiration from the SS17 Jil Sander show collection and their beautiful pleated pieces in soft blush Pink tones which reflect the colours and textures of the Antelope Navejo canyon in the Arizona desert where the water and sand carves flowing shapes into the rocks of the narrow passageways of the amazing natural landscape, the team have created this incredible installation at their Brompton Road store with a 3D textured hand carved back wall and free standing organic forms with an artificial Pink coloured stream dissecting through it.  An all round beautiful scheme and stunning product.

Anthropologie, London

There's nothing like a good old rummage around Anthropologie and getting those creative juices flowing with the abundance of creativity in their stores.  Clearly we're already into Spring schemes and with their flora and pentagonal / honey comb inspired structured installation (at least at their Regent street store although of course the beauty of this brand is that there are so many variations on the theme across their stores) here's just one interpretation of their current global directive.

Louis Vuitton, London

Wow, this are a very dramatic installation at LV along Bond street right now.  The scheme is possibly linked to the Louvre and the Cour Marly's majestic sculpture hall where the brands AW17 runway show was held although we can also see references to all sort of amazing places around Europe such as the Gardens of Bomarzo which we have included here previously but if you are not familiar with it then do do a quick search in your preferred browser as it really is a magical place and great for inspiration.

Guerlain, London

The newest fragrance from this incredible brand has recently been launch; Mon Guerlain created from Carla Lavender and Sambac Jasmin.  Working in  conjunction with the amazing www.millingtonassociates.com  to create this scheme of beautifully illuminated plinths, Golden backdrop mixed with a  trompe l'oeil effect, this is one window where we wish we could share the scent too.

Desigual, London

There appears to be a bit of a Russian theme running across several schemes in town right now and this one at Desigual is particularly fun.  With their outsized Matryoshka doll (or Russian nesting doll to the layman) and mannequins with stereotypical braided hair complete with kokoshnik's (do correct us if we are wrong) this possibly ties in with the current exhibition of Russian Art at the Royal Academy here in the centre of it all?

Gant, London

Gant schemes appear to becoming more and more simplified since their move across Regent street a short while ago, although new teams and new visions are fine of course and fresh approaches are always welcomed.  With just a few simple bust forms in dynamic positions behind which are placed 'cut out' backdrops the scheme highlights some of their shirt products.  A bit of theatre is always appreciated though...;o)

Liberty, London

We know for sure that this scheme relates back to the current Royal Academy's exhibition of Russian Art, Revolution: Russian Art 1917 - 1932 as it says so on their windows.  Curating their products is a key point of difference between this store and their competitors (department) stores across town and we are slightly relieved that their scheme didn't lean towards one of the R.A.'s additional current features, 'Why I made my Muppet Masterpiece: American Gothique', can you imagine Miss Piggy et al in Liberty windows surrounded with super luxury products?  Probably not.

Moncler, London

Moncler is one of our favourites for schemes right now (although we know we can be fickle and swear no allegiance to any particular brand usually) and their latest offering in a sea of Gold is particularly interesting.  With their caged figures in a gravitational format (possibly from the Absolute Bird Cage collection from Windows mannequins) and just one product in each window this scheme is shining very brightly across Bond street right now.  Just image what we would see from this brand if they had a much bigger store here in London.

Dior, London

Tying in very nicely with their 'We Should All Be Feminists' limited edition White Cotton and Linen T-shirts promotion, yours for just £490 (ouch) the latest scheme is fantastically dramatic and quite a departure from their usual schemes.  A simple message which really packs a punch and great to see this brands windows still looking so strong and yet very simple.

Bloomingdales, New York

This Spring, Bloomingdales, NYC, are celebrating the 'Art of Fashion'.  As the worlds of Fashion and Art continually overlap and the lines become ever more blurred Bloomingdales is celebrating the season with exclusive 'masterpieces' events and amazing visual displays throughout their 59th street store.  The store have translated a curated selection of their latest designer collaborations into a glossary of wearable Art and feature artwork by New York based Artist Eddy Bogaert which can best be viewed through 3D glasses, all available to passersby.  Additionally, if you happen to be in NYC and have a smart phone then you can also participate in the scheme and express your creativity by typing Artof100.com into your browser and turn your phone into a virtual paint gun.  There is so much more you can do and discover but do go and have a look and participate if you can as this scheme is rocking the high street right now and one not to be missed.

Coach, London

Theatre in store windows lives, thankfully.  Its been a long time since we've seen such a magnificent scheme from a relatively small store as it has tended to be the domain of department stores for quite some time.  But just look at this scheme at Coach along Regent street right now.  Of course its difficult to really experience the impact of this installation in a still image but take it from us it looks incredible.  With references to their 'Elvis' inspired products (what is difficult to view here is the lipstick'ed car windscreen with 'Love me tender' scrawled across it) these windows are a corker.
