With some retailers teetering on the edge of Christmas (and some already in full swing) it is a huge relief to see that at least one of our favourite brands have such an amazing fashion-led scheme in place to feed our appetites for incredible installations.  And how stunning is this..!  Taking a trip into Josephs 'Acid Lounge' you can indulge yourself in a space that is presented as a fantasy organic landscape.  In stunning shades of Blue from the outside the scheme forms a living cave-like space with an inner core of Red, Yellow and Orange tones.  Its such a delight passing this store and if you can then do pay it a visit yourself.

Marc Jacobs. London

If you have seen the drawings of the 'faces' from this brands AW16 collection on social media then you will know how well this scheme ties into their launch.  The strap line here is Mrs. Peregine's Home for Peculiar Children and the story of Jacob who discovers clues to a mystery that stretches across time.  You will have to see the film yourself of course to find out more.

All Saints, London

This has been one of our favourite brands on the high street for quite some time as the tones of the product just hit the spot perfectly.  It was great for us therefore to see how this brand is developing with the launch of this Pop up space at the super iconic department store, Selfridges.  Created by those great guys at www.millingtonassociates.com and designed by set designer Jack Flanagan this exposed concrete and brushed steel framed installation sits so perfectly with the brands fantastic merchandise.

Maserati / Zegna, London

In celebration of the arrival of the first Maserati Levante to the UK, complete with luxurious leather upholstery specially developed by the amazing Italian powerhouse Ermenegildo Zegna, the team at www.elemental.co.uk have been a part of this exciting collaboration producing their latest installation at the phenomenal luxury store, Harrods.  The scheme includes references to urban and rural landscapes and terrain which ties in perfectly with the sleek, aerodynamic lines of the Maserati Levante and plays with the concept of motion and the imagined trails which this vehicle leaves in its wake.  A fantastic narrative and superb quality installation from all four brands involved.

Patek Philippe, London

Given the expense of the product at this brand and the likelihood that this is the kind of store that will be targeted during the twilight hours its no surprise that these windows are product empty although all that said its quite sad to see a window intentionally relieved of its product when this is the whole point of the space.  However, the point here is just to highlight the use of blocked colours which we are seeing across a multitude of brands, including further down below the scheme at Diane von Furstenberg.

Valextra, London

We have to confess that we don't know much about this brand so have had to take a cursory glance at their website in order to find out who they are.  Clearly as they have a store along Mount street they are a significant player in the leather goods market and their products are no doubt gracing the pages of very glossy publications although that aside we were drawn in more by these globes with objects inside and in particular the use of blocks of colour in this repetition format, this is something we are seeing more and more across a lot of luxury brands which we will include this week.

Clarks, London

Clarks throughout 2016 have proved to be the VM gift that just keeps on giving (at least at their Regent street store).  We've lavished lots of love in the direction of this brand and rightly so; remember when they were not so cool?.  Looking better and better with each scheme this brand is rocketing.  A multitude of shoe lasts in White and repetition format form the backdrop to this scheme with the strap lines, 'Simple. It's Complicated' and 'For Real' with just one, yes one product in these huge windows.  Thats a confident retailer for you.

Zara, London

We haven't included Zara on this site for a while although they have been looking a little 'generic' so we've had nothing to write about them.  However, Bond st. seems to be the store where they tend to be a little more experimental so it was great to see this Fashion Week installation complete with large screen and deflated mirror balls strategically placed around the window.

Moschino, London

Ironically while this product has apparently been dropped by Nordstrom (if social media is to be believed) this scheme and product is actually the best we have seen from this brand in a long time.  With its great quality props and references to pill popping of at least some kind, we do like a brand that ruffles the high street somewhere even if no one this side of the pond seems to have noticed  much.

Longchamp, London

We included the latest scheme at Longchamp last week and had mentioned that the 'ironwork' look a little like a caged animal had escaped.  Subsequently the scheme has changed a little and although along the same lines it is rather more formal than the previous one.  Whatever the reason for the quick change for this look-ee-likey installation we preferred the previous one ourselves even if we did poke at it a little.

Uniqlo, London

Its beginning to feel rather wintery here in London at the moment so this scheme at Uniqlo is absolutely tapping into the current climate rather perfectly.  This brand of course is great for its basics  or if you like to dress like a tourist (they do seem to wear a lot of this kind of stuff so nothing personal we promise - just an observation - although of course this product is 'sans' real fur trim - thankfully).  Faux icicles 'drip' down the fenestration completing the look.

Dior, Selfridges, London

Working in conjunction with the team at Dior, the fantastic team at www.elemental.co.uk have supported the launch of their new fragrance collection 'La Collection Privee - La Colle Noire' at the fabulous department store Selfridges here in the centre of it all.  Elemental's brief was to create something with a 'magical but elegant' twist working closely with the brand to develop their initial designs.  The final outcome here is a highly stylised fragrance bar with a combination of mirror, bright steel finishes, high gloss Black while interweaving elements of 'Les Rhumbs' chateau which sits at the heart of Dior's latest campaign culminating in yet another winning design from this incredible design agency and phenomenal brand.
