Dior, London

The new Dior store has finally opened along Bond street and what an amazing inaugural scheme for their new store.  Photographic lighting, beautifully made of course, forms the backdrop to the product in a repetition format.  Moving mirrors have also been added into the mix reflecting onto the high street.  This scheme had probably gone worldwide so we're sure you will be able to see it for yourself wherever you live in the world.

Tods, Milan

There's clearly a huge burst of creativity happening at Tods right now with this scheme.  With what appears to almost be an Artist studio with paint strategically 'splashed' up and across the back walls and punctuated with pieces of product this is certainly grabbing the attention of the locals.  This store in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II provides an interesting juxtaposition against the historical Architecture of the surrounding space.

Coccinelle, Milan

This is another unfamiliar brand to us and although the product here appears to be simply handbags they have made quite an effort in grabbing our attention.  Slightly strange that all of the messages here are in English rather than Italian although we are guessing that as English is the global language, (at least for now), it was the preferred option (who knows?).  Speech bubbles surround the product in this gravitational format with the illuminated text 'message in a bag' strapline.

10 Corso Como, Milan

If you like your concept stores then 10 Corso Como here in Milan is already probably on your list.  Just look at this space.  Brimming with such beautiful products that will make your credit card weep we cant help but salivate on every floor.  Incidentally do check out their top floor book store with fantastic products from the likes of Margiela, and also have a glance through this brands' website.  10 Corso Como have stores in Shanghai, Beijing and Seoul although not many of us are going to be there anytime soon to their website is probably your best option if you are looking for some delicious finds.

Armani Manzoni, Milan

If you are visiting Milan then a visit to the Armani Manzoni is certainly a must.  We've never seen such a huge store dedicated to this brand and it looks quite amazing with what appears to be a very wide range of products from their collections.  The windows at night time of course really come alive with the use of these illuminated mirrored hexagons into which their products have been placed.  Do check them out.

Three Mobile, London

At the heart of this campaign is the message of untethered connectivity which the team at www.elemental.co.uk sought to communicate in this wonderfully intelligent, fun and engaging installation taking inspiration from the concept of a sound speaker and using it as a form of audio-visual communication in order to capture the attention of their target audience.  www.elemental.co.uk created a series of metal and acrylic sculptures featuring three concentric pulsing rings of LED lights with the hip hop musical influence from Will.I.am which was brought to life with graphic equalizers that display audio signal with the pulse signal and the lights here representing this.  This latest campaign  at Three Mobile can be viewed at 19 of their flagship stores.

Pinko, Milan

We normally fly passed this brand back in London as they don't tend to do very much with their Visual Merchandising however this store here in Milan did grab our attention.  With their neon-led scheme complete with Love Me Tender banner and out sized guitars as the main focal point on entering into the store it does appear quite interesting although perhaps the windows themselves needed a bit more Tender Loving as they do look rather less interesting by comparison?  Just our thoughts.

Hogan, Milan

Hogan is looking more and more like a brand to watch as their Visual Merchandising is ever more exciting and they are clearly investing in interesting schemes.  Their latest installation here in Milan looks like its been inspired by molecular structures (perhaps references to the Sensitive Science trend we've seen around for a while?) onto which their products are placed.  Looking great.

Santoni, Milan

We're not familiar with this brand here in Milan so another delicious find for you if you don't know it either.  After a cursory glance across the internet it transpires that Santoni began producing their limited edition men's shoes back in 1975.  A thoroughly Italian brand which sells their products both here and selected boutiques around the world and includes luxury retailers such as Harrods department store in London too.  Clearly communicating the craftsmanship involved in creating their products in this installation with the use of these multiple shoe lasts in a repetition and radiating format.

Moncler, Milan

One of our favourite brands for Visual Merchandising right now is definitely Moncler.  We've never met anyone from this brand on the VM circuit so we have no idea who produces their window schemes, however they are always absolutely superb.  We're not fans of the product particularly although the schemes are second to very few.  As always, beautiful props in this fantastic store (just difficult to capture in a photograph)

Herno, Milan

We are not familiar with this brand so its quite exciting to find something new and local to the area.  The clothing is hanging slightly abattoir corpse-like from what appear to be carabina style metal loops and while this is not the most exciting scheme in the world as the product is clearly luxurious it does have a certain impact we guess.

Dolce & Gabbana, Milan

In the land of Dolce & Gabbana and in a city which appears to have more of this brands' stores than H&M's (yes that many) we have seen some amazing installations across the various facets for which this brand cater.  This installation in particular drew us in with its picnic basket landscapes with tiny narratives included.  OK, well the scale is slightly awry but this doesn't really matter as this is all part of the interest in these pieces.  Clearly a SS16 installation referencing travel and holidays which of course are typically in line with the season.

Berlutti, Milan

With their interior inspired installation Berlutti of course as always delivers a super luxurious scheme.  The windows at the store back in London are virtually the same size of those at Tiffany so its no surprise that the schemes usually lack the impact delivered by this store here in Milan.  Beautiful products and great narrative this street near this epicentre of creative window schemes close to the Via Monte Napoleone is so worth a visit if you can.
