Emporio Armani, London

We're not a big fan of the use of graphics in store windows usually although these ones at EA are actually quite creative.  Using what appears to be colour printing on the top of newspaper articles is very interesting particularly as it has also been used in conjunction with these light boxes in a symmetrical format.

Bally, London

We're loving the new collection from Bally right now.  The Swizz Beatz collection Bally X Shok 1 looks more like some of the collections from brands such as LV and Hindmarch and we're drooling.  With their X-ray / collaborative promotion Bally is looking great and the products are delicious.  Do check out their website as this collection really is worth checking out.

Philipp Plein, London

We're still quite not sure how we feel about this brands offer as it seems that they are slightly teetering on Moschino's 'patch' with the use of the Playboy logo.  Motifs are not our usual preference when it comes to window installations although oddly if you do a quick search it seems that this particular one is associated with sexiness, prestige and a little bit of mystique - really?  However with the current #MeToo mood around the world perhaps these types of references are best left to part of history from which they came.  1953 called, they want their logo back.

Penhaligon's London

We came across this scheme the other day at the brands' store just off Bond street.  Flickering away like its life depended on it, it certainly drew us in to take a closer look.  With a slight nod to something Dickensian and great cardboard engineering with added neon thrown in for good measure this scheme does look incredible when seen in 'life'; the slightly manic lighting here just cant be captured in a still image but does look incredible.

Wow, this is an interesting installation from this brand and one of the best we have seen here for a quite a while.  It cant be easy trying to make this brand look interesting (given the speciality of the product and still maintain the masculine element).  Judging by the sparkling backdrop we're guessing that this is their Christmas installation and so refreshing to not see flashing trees and and of course the dreaded Silver Birches.

Jimmy Choo, London

This is an interesting installation from Jimmy Choo at the moment with this slightly crumpled-looking Silver and Gold structure around which the product has been placed and illuminated from below.  We have seen a few schemes rocking the crumpled look around town recently (or slightly different versions of something similar at least) and we're guessing that as they have changed from their Black and White disc scheme which we included recently that this will be their Christmas installation.

Fendi, London

You really have to see this in the 'flesh' to appreciate the brightness of these versions of Michelangelo's sculpture of David within Fendi's window scheme right now.  The large sized pieces are obviously a shorter version of the original which apparently is 17 feet in height.  The backdrop also has miniature White versions of the 'David' placed in a repetition format.  Just to add an interesting fact, another replica of this sculpture was shown here in London at the Victoria and Albert Museum in 1857 and Queen Victoria was so taken aback by its nudity that she ordered that a plaster fig leaf be placed over, well you know what, before it went on public display.

Some of the Calvin Klein stores are looking superb at the moment and this space in Moscow is amazing.  Situated within Vesna Bosco Di Ciliegi, these amazing billboards with cut outs from Sterling Ruby's exceptional artwork bring this whole place to life.   Moscow is looking like an amazing city to watch right now.  Another great installation produced in conjunction with the fantastic team at www.artevetrinaproject.it

Loro Piana @Harrods, London

With their 'Dunes of Pure Rarity' installation at Harrods right now (which incidentally must have cost them a small fortune to have here) the latest scheme from Loro Piana looks incredibly interesting.  Unfortunately as the store was closed when we visited we weren't able to explore this much further (as in is there anything else in store?) although their gravity defying ropes in a repetition format looks quite amazing from the outside.
