Dolce & Gabbana, London

It looks like everyone is going tropical right now across the high street (well a few brands at least).  With their product-led scheme Dolce and Gabbana have installed quite a scheme.  If we are honest with you for a moment, this one does look quite vulgar for our preference although of course they are attracting a certain market who love this stuff so who cares.  Large shiny Banana plants made of who knows what frame this semi-symmetrical scheme at their store along Bond street.

Rimowa, London

We don't know this brand at all although we come across it so frequently along Bond street.  What we also don't know is what on earth this scheme is about?  OK, we get the foliage which is clearly on trend right now as we have spotted it at brands such as Dolce and Gabbana among others however what is it with the addition of the metal sculptural structure in the backdrop?  We just don't understand this scheme at all.

Moncler, London

This one of our favourite brands' windows right now.  Thankfully since this brand opened its store along Bond street we have additional great new schemes to view on a fairly regular basis and this one is no exception.  There isn't much we can say to describe it other than the fantastic Bear prop and overall moody scheme although it really is a treat to have this brand in town nonetheless.  We've also included a video of the scheme too (you may not be able to view this via email subscription but please do check out our main site or through our YouTube channel)

Goat, London

We included this tiny brands' store along Conduit street recently and what an intersting brand they are turning out to be.  With their beautifully produced installation inspired by their floral seasonal prints these stunning dyed blooms have been strategically placed to flow from the inside out.  Great to see brands coming out of their traditional window spaces.

Sirin Lab, London

If you ever wondered what the future will look like then look no further.  How stunning is this space.  The fantastically creative team at www.elemental.co.uk have recently worked on Sirin Lab's new flagship store along Bruton street here in London to introduce a new entrant to the technology market.  Aimed at the international business person who carries a lot of sensitive information but doesn't want to compromise usability, quality or design, Solarin provides military-grade style protection with second to none connectivity and audio-visual capabilities.  This stunning, visually compelling and immersive space communicates the key features of Solarin which includes a pale, Marble, minimalist interior with sharp lines of light slicing through it like lasers; completely unapologetically and sumptuously luxurious.  Think 007 and then some.

Hermes, London

We saw this window last week and what a fantastic installation from this global brand.  As always, beautifully executed, fun narrative in stunning colours and great use of neon and movement within the space.  We've been out with our video camera as it is so difficult to appreciate this scheme in all its glory so we've included a short video on our YouTube channel which you can see below.

Zara, London

While this isn't the most exciting scheme we've ever seen at Zara in one of their flagship stores it does have a certain purity and perhaps a whiff of retro about it?  With their illuminated light boxes and both pyramidal and repetition dynamics it is what it is we guess although some localised creativity is always appreciated rather than being presented with an-out-of-the-packet-photoshop-sent-to-all-stores-generic scheme, but thats globalisation for you

If you missed this incredible installation at Selfridges then here's your opportunity to salivate at the fantastic work of the Japanese Artist Azumo Makoto and of course the amazing global brand Fendi.  In collaboration with those talented guys at http://www.millingtonsassociates.com the spectacular floral oasis inspired by the brands SS16 collection was created using a three wheeled APE car, flower bottles and tables with amazing Perspex flower cubes.  This floral wonderland just looks incredible.

7 For all Mankind, London

http://www.retailstorewindows.com

We have often passed this store along Regent street and wondered why the brand never do very much with their Visual Merchandising and then quickly move along to the next brand.  Right now however, what they may lack in heritage and depth they are making up in quite a statement here.  We have been scanning their blog so we are guessing this installation is referencing all of the entries they have on California and within this relatively small space we have a very cleverly created swimming pool (and it does look really good), architectural backdrop and of course the obligatory mannequins which altogether sum up the season.  Fingers cross this brand continue implementing great schemes.

Stella McCartney, London

http://www.retailstorewindows.com

As per their usual style the windows at Stella McCartney are simple and bold.  Outsized neon Cats in Blue, Yellow and White surround the product here.  The connect between the product and the installation is rather lost on us however although along this part of Mayfair the windows do make a huge impact.

Harvey Nichols, London

http://www.retailstorewindows.com

Naked Man Alert.  If you haven't seen the latest installation by the obviously bonkers and wonderfully creative team at Harvey Nichols then here are some images to whet your appetites.  Clearly there is a push in menswear at the brand as almost all of this scheme is dedicated to it.  There are countless layers of interest here from gravity defying mannequins, an (almost) naked one, one created using all sorts of components such as drawers and a chair wearing shoes.  What must go through the minds of the guys working here.  Spectacularly creative, absolutely fascinating to view and mind blowing impact.  Could we gush any more?

Liberty, London

http://www.retailstorewindows.com

We do miss humour in windows schemes so when we do see a brand that is clearly having a huge amount of fun it really is appreciated.  With their surfing inflatable props and mountains of flip flops Liberty's latest scheme really does communicate that while they are a serious brand with consistent delivery, they can have fun also and there's nothing wrong with that.  If you can, you must go and see these surfing flip flops.
