Coach, London

With just one or two products in a window space a retailer really does need to be confident with their products.  At Coach the brand are highlighting pieces from their AW16 collection (yes already) with the promotion of this coat by Stuart Vevers and surrounded by rusty steel girders in a vertical alignment.  You can check out our video here below or through this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m80OOj5i-Ys

Sub-Age, Tokyo

Its always such a pleasure to receive such interesting content from places which we aren't normally able to include ourselves here.  How amazing is this place?  Sub-Age is a Tokyo based pop up space inspired by the UK's anti-social youth subculture and showcasing their current collections within a space complete with large formatted baby image and punctuated by a suspended Milk bottle piercing pressed Beer cans.  If you happen to be in Harajuku do try and visit places like this.

Massimo Dutti, London

We have seen a few of the latest schemes here in London which place product within an interior space.  Whether this is referencing the atmospheres or sense of place trends we really can only guess however the use of Grey tones (which allows the product to shine) also appears to be popping up across a variety of brands too.

Sotheby's, London

Millington Associates have have recently completed another collaboration in conjunction with the world famous auction house, Sotheby's.  The magical world of fairy tales informed their latest installation with the production of their Cinderella scheme to highlight the upcoming auction of Old Master Paintings.   Beautiful Paper props have been included here such as the amazing 'glass' slipper (below) produced by the ever talented Zoe Bradley.  Stunning scheme.

H&M, London

This brand fly through schemes so fast that if we don't include them now it will have come and gone already.  What is interesting about this brand - and goodness knows we celebrate this - is that not every store looks identical; Hurrah.  As we've shown you with the example at Bottega Veneta yesterday, we are finding schemes with lots of layers around town which give relatively small spaces a certain amount of depth. We are also finding references to interior spaces, examples of which we will include shortly.

Retail Vision, Top 50, 2016

Its always so great to hear exciting news.  This year we've been included in Retail Visions Top 50 Retail Blogs for 2016

Retail Vision Top 50 Sites

Bottega Veneta, London

Thankfully this brand have hidden their security grille with this scheme although we cant decide whether this looks Autumnal or Spring-like?  We do love the layers here however with this woodland scene which appears very theatrical particularly given the tiny space that they have to work in.

Tiffany, London

Its official, Valentines promotions have begun.  No sooner do we have Christmas and Sale schemes (nearly) out of the way, here at Tiffany, another scheme with neon lighting highlights that its already ahead of the retail calendar and kicking into the New Year.  Of course every scheme installed at this brand is exquisite and naturally in miniature given the size of their windows and superb they look too.  We have included a video of all four windows which you can either see below or click the link here.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bhe49_e1UCQ

Stella McCartney, London

This is possibly one of the most dramatic installations we've ever seen from this brand and what a corker it is too.  Over sized Neon illuminated flowers fill these windows along Bruton Street and a welcome relief they are too among the clearance schemes on most of the high street surrounding them.  Looking great..!

Victoria Beckham, London

This is the first time we've included this store (it opened way back in 2014) although they've never produced anything very visual here for us to record until now.  From a few cursory searches this installation appears to have been in place since the end of last year; we haven't been able to find any information about it however as the brands website is somewhat lacking in information (even for an apparently 'luxury' brand).  This installation does look superb although if no information is available its a little like waving at someone in the dark, i.e. you know what you are doing but no-one else does.

Hackett, London

We do love a bit of neon lighting in a scheme.  Here at Hackett their Gentleman's Sale scheme is in full swing.  This period in the retail calendar is not the most exciting time of the year although we do appreciate it when brands offer a certain level of differentiation and make an effort to entice us in.  Hackett always does.

J Crew, London

Most of London is in Sale right now although thankfully its not a sea of Red Sale signs.  Here at J Crew, while not our favourite brand it was refreshing so see a Sale scheme which plays on words and teases us to come in.  DONUT MISS OUT SALE is the strap line here with, yes, you guessed it over sized and revolving Doughnuts forming the back drop.  One of the more innovative Sale schemes we've seen on the high street at the moment.

Dover st. Market, London

We're finally back in blighty and unseasonable stormy weather at that.  We first swung by Dover street Market in anticipation that everyone else is in Sale and therefore not much else to view and of course there is little to disappoint here (apart from the fact that they say nothing about this installation other than its a Terracotta Army).  Here it is in all its glory anyway but more to follow from around town shortly.
